Currently knitting a heel flap (in Patons Kroy Sock) while watching and seriously considering trying a shadow wrap heel for my next pair! I do like the way heel flap and gusset heels fit (I feel like that's what everyone says), but if a shadow wrap fits well enough, I would be happy to skip the heel flap and gusset.

Exactly! The shadow wrap is much faster and so simple. I'm pretty sure it is going to become one of my go-to heels. 😁
