    AMEN AMEN..she has said the right word...HONOR! God asks all christians(independent of their denomination)to clean our bodies, because he created us as his own image. We still sinners, we are in flesh, like Jesus was. If we redeem ourselves to the cross, and bible, we will get a new mind(metanoia)to view what GOD views. God is always watching over us, but, those who do not believe, and let world manipulate their lives. That's Jesuschrist, he knows all, and waiting for us in heaven.

      Anorexia is a mental illness, are you saying that Christians can’t have psychological problems?

    The comments below are really surprising. The title is "Celebrity Stories of Faith" so it's not a shocker if the video will mention God, right? Why do people click on this if they expect none of that "God talk"? Is this what's called internet trolling? [I'm not even trying to be sarcastic; I'm just confused.]

    Reading the books of the New Testament, we probably asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years?
    The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist.
    Find *"The Mystery about the Church of Christ"* video on CZcams, which shows the real causes of Christian sects and atheism. The video reveals a prophecy about the disappearance and reappearance of the Church of Christ before the end of the world. Watching this video will bring joy to all who sincerely seek God and will interest those who are not too lazy to think freely. It is funny to see testimonies in the US and testimonies from Christians in other countries. In the US the testimonies are so theatrical. The other day I heard a testimony of a woman and problems with her Mercedes. Meanwhile I heard a testimony from Africa where the family didn't have any food. I was on a small group the other day and the prayer requests were : Bless my trip to Europe, help me to buy a new car (trying to decide between Mercedes and BMW), help me to get my $30,000 bonus, and help my mom to remodel her house. In Latin America or Africa people are praying for food, shelter, or a new pair of shoes.

    What if your holy temple is ruined and ugly, and you are in pain, then what?. Not all abuse can he healed by restraint. I would love it if people would explain how God helped, not simply that he did. It could help others understand. Some of us are fighting sin, repenting, but not getting any better.

    That's fine and dandy, but I don't think God cares if you over eat. I get what you're saying, but God doesn't care about petty things like how much you eat. I think how you treat people is the most important.

    • @gabriellad6837
      @gabriellad6837 Před 8 lety +4

      That's really not true Jesse. God cares about us and our entire being. How we treat our bodies is a huge thing when living the Christian life. For example, how could an overweight (severely unhealthy) serve God when that person is unhealthy and most likely very insecure. Gluttony is a real sin that takes the lives of many! Self control is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. When a person cannot control themselves with food, they do not have self control and are allowing the food to be their master. People who struggle with that are not happy people and it weighs them down and it is a gateway for Satan to get in their thoughts. Also, our body is to be pure and in good health to honor God (1 Corinthians) God bless!!

      This is my opinion, I really think that there is no such thing as right or wrong. Everyone has free will to chose their life and you will learn and grow in whatever your own personal struggles are. Mot people have body issues or self esteem issues and that's completely normal. Are you serious? How can an overweight person serve God. Ummm... the same way anyone else does obviously. God doesn't care about a persons weight or height or any other minor detail like that.

      +jesse p We as Christian people, our bodies are supposed to be a temple. God gave us our bodies to serve him and if our bodies are unhealthy we can't serve as well
