Fantastic video. Literally have never heard of this brand but a ton of the features you mentioned sound great.
I remember when they were a Kickstarter.
Back then, the 1.0… the suit had a hood.

I've been contemplating buying an xsuit for a while now. Thanks for making this video. After your next video comparing the 3 vs 4 , I think I'll make my decision and buy one possibly second in a different color.

I’m in Texas and it’s starting to get hot I’m bigger guy and need couple suits for new job after reading about them I think ima get a black suit to start the stretch fabric and to be able to wash it is game changer

@@TheDadBodPlanning on doing any more of these? I've heard good things about Spier & Mackay. And perspectives on travel suits like Bluffworks and Ministry of Supply would be interesting coming from someone who's well versed in good suits.
Currently waiting on a few suits for videos. Likely 2-3 before the end of the year.

Thanks for the video! Did you happen to notice that the suit had any type of chemical smell upon arrival? Had to send my 1st one back for this issue, hoping the replacement doesn’t have the same issue..

@@TheDadBod Thanks again, I'm glad I found your channel and am really enjoying the videos. I'm considering buying one or 2, but I'm concerned that the fabric is going to look cheap, especially around others wearing more traditional suits. How do you think they blend in?
There is a slight difference between traditional suits and the fabric on travel suits such as these, sene, woodies, and others.
The fabric on the travel suits often looks a little less formal. I fit in just fine at my work with travel suits but if I were to go to a meeting with the company seniors, I would likely wear a regular suit as opposed to a travel suit.
I am required to wear a suit everyday. Extremely formal work place. No one is allowed in my building without a coat and tie.
Does this suit stand out and informal?
I’m afraid this will look like a track suit when up close but suit from distance of 10+ feet.
Just subbed 😊 I have two questions: 1) are you going to’ review the 5.0 that came out recently ? And 2) do they bring out a new SUIT model every year? Currently the 5.0 is out of my budget, but I see they tend to heavily discount previous models, so wondered if we can expect a 6.0 SUIT next year? 😊
They just barely fit me. I put on about 20lbs last year due to a medicine I had to take while awaiting surgery (3 weeks ago). It’s possible I’ll review a new suit from them but I’ll either have to wait till I work off the weight or wait till they increase their sizes.
Hope you are doing well and recovering okay 😊 did your surgery go as planned? I watched your review of SENE and apparently quality wise you prefer X Suit, but mentioned their logistical issues. Do you know if they have sorted that out since? I Guess maybe it’s worth emailing them specifying what your order is going to be and ask confirmation that all is in stock before placing it? Or do you have any other suggestions to minimise issues/delays with them?
I’m not sure. I did a video showing some upgrades that sene made and mentioned that I prefer sene over xsuit due to the ordering and logistical issues plus the custom sizing. And then my videos got blasted with bots saying I’m a fraud and xsuit is better. Hundreds of comments in the span of minutes. That was quite unprofessional in my opinion.
They make good travel suits. I’ll give them that. Both do.

How do the trousers fit ? Are they roomy in the thigh? They look very stretchy but curious about the cut.

Probably not. Sorry. You could try Sene. The have made to measure sizing but they are less formal than XSuit.
I’ve emailed XSuit a few times asking for larger sizes. You should email them. If they get enough, they might. You might need a 54 size. Not sure, but that’s my guess.
Oh, and for your garment bags. Get your suits vacuum sealed when you're traveling. It minimizes the weight, and the space of the five suits you will travel with in thr future.
Compare this suits with “ state and liberty athletic suit “
State and Liberty doesn’t make them in a size that I can fit in.
nice review but does it breath well and does it seem like when bend and stretching the back line on jacket and side seams stretch to much and possibly tear just curious i've had suit just pop apart after a few wears also what's it look like after a wash and does the repellent wash out??
It breathes well. No issues with stretching. Repellant hasn’t washed off yet.
I’ve heard several people getting wrong sizes and delays for months. I’m gonna be trying out a travel suit from Woodies when it launches in a month. Their pants and dress shirts are great. Hopefully their suits are too.
I used to buy expensive suits with those god awful thick shoulder pads until one day i was in a Kohls with my girlfriend and I discovered something amazing, I had never even been to a Kohls in my entire life, but it was there I found a better way to where suits. I came across a suit brand called JM Hagger performance and i noticed they jacket had zero shoulder pad, so I put on a 46 reg and not only did it fit perfectly but it was so light and stretchy. I couldn't believe I had spent so much money on heavy suits when I could have been wearing these stretchy performance suits all along. i'm also pissed off at men's Wearhouse for selling me those. I am going to purchase every color of the X suit.
You might like Sene as well. And I’m waiting on a similar suit from woodies to make a video.

Ok, I wanted to try those "amazing" new style of suits so I purchased one to try:
- Size is not adapted to european fit, they are too big, so take at least one size down
- Return process is ok, but quite slow I'd say
- Shirts are nice
- Trousers are ok
- Jackets are very bad imo: too long, no style, and no shoulder support, which make them very weird.
I had to make 2 returns before getting the right size, and once I get the right one, I was disappointed: the material is itchy, and the jacket doesn't really fit.
I think those suits might be ok(ish) for casual non professionnal environments, but they lack of style and are poorly cut.
Save money, don't buy this lol

From what I can tell, they disabled all promo codes recently. I emailed them to see if they can bring it back but I haven’t heard back from them.
My Sene suit promo code still works. If that helps. I’ll be doing another video on sene in a few weeks. Made to measure. I’ve had a lot of messages lately from people saying their XSuit order took months and they got the wrong item.

Hello....Did you prefer X suit or Sene ?
I like that XSuit has a slightly more formal option but both make very nice traveler suits.
I would say Sene has the advantage because they offer custom sizes and they don’t have the logistics issues that XSuit has.
Myself and many others who have commented or emailed me have stated they ordered an XSuit and got the wrong size so r color or version. And some were in stock when ordered but they had to wait months (3+) for it or part of it due to supply issues.
Just a lot of headaches.
I’ll be doing a new sene video in a month with a suit, dress shirt, T-shirt, polo, and jeans.

I did several XSuit videos. I mentioned them throughout. I do like xsuits but I had issues getting the suits and reading the comments from others, same issue. That and their sizes are limited.
