This is probably the most chill and down to earth personality I have seen of Parker. Its crazy how much more personable he seems here. I really only came here for the comments 😂 but wound up watching the whole thing and enjoying the convo.

He had a fallout 4 years ago for bashing other YTbers. He returned to his OG format (POVs and first impressions) instead of doing vlogs. However, the damage was already done and the YT algorithm stopped promoting him like it used to. His content is still pretty good imo.

I kind of feel bad for him. He pretty obviously had a mental breakdown but I don’t think he was more toxic during that time than say salomondrin who has burned anyone who ever worked with him. He’s getting probably 1/10 of the views he used to get but still keeps making videos. I don’t think he’s making any money at all of the videos now so I think he just does it for the few people still watching.

Parker has burned a lot of bridges in the industry, but good on him for sticking it out and getting back out there. I personally have moved on from him, but I do wish him luck.

i tired off the record recently and they warned me that getting a ticket dismissed was extremely unlikely. the lawyers OTR set me up with made a point of saying that OTR dismissal claims were not guaranteed. still got the ticket off my record but had to pay quite a bit for a small speeding ticket. didn't really seem worth it

I used to watch vehicle virgins back in the day. I learned manual from both matt and vehicle virgins video.

The kid was in his early 20s when he was handed millions of dollars. Most would go through a cringe period and he did it on camera. He’s owned it and moved on. Everyone else should too

i remember november of last year I went to sonoma raceway for the velocity invitational and couldnt believe afterwards how many popular yters made videos about it!! i guess i had no idea how big a deal it was and the level of cars there was insane.

Great interview, great seeing this guy in a positive light. I do feel the 599 Ferrari with the manual swap for $50k could be around 200k and I I think in 10 years that company most likely will not still be offering this swap and there could be a static number of 599s who got swapped from automatic F1 gear box to a manual. The swap is really high quality and well sorted and the ones from the factory that are manual(super limited production) are already over a million so the value is there.
How does a retail business manager afford a 997 Turbo S Manual? What a world.

Thanks Matt, this was great. Believe it or not there are some CZcamsrs with interesting stuff. Stradman is definitely an interesting one and was literally homeless when he started.
He chose to sleep in his Audi R8 because he couldn't be bothered to pay for rent or move back in with his parents for the sake of making unique content. It worked out really well for him so all the power to him, but calling him homeless is still a stretch and a half.
Pretty sure it was a TT but yea it was his decision. He gambled big & all the teenage boys clung to him! He’s cashing in for sure plus he’s smart so I think he will be fine lol

People are different Bruv, people like different things, we shouldn't condem people for not knowing or liking certain things. Some car enthusiasts don't even care about things like formula 1, which is crazy to me, but everyone is different, I'm not better than anyone else because I've watched f1 since birth

I have a feeling that girl from Texas is probably not alive now. Also, great guests, he uploaded a video many years ago about how to drive stick shift, helped me a lot, funny thing he's only like 3 years older than me, I thought he was much older.
I still watch Parker. His recent videos from the last 18 months or so are so chill. Glad he’s still out there, deserves more watchers.

Alejandro actually never left YT. He just altered his commitment towards the Salomundo channel, which has loads more views and subs. It would be cool to see him on TST.

To be fair I think Parker was like we have to go to cali to take it to the next level, which Parker did have mil+ subs and was killing it for awhile while Eddie has been stuck under 150k subs this whole tine.

I really enjoyed this conversation.
It's very easy to attack someone on the internet over the stuff we think they're guilty of but instead why not show them support in their quest for growth?
I know that Parker had some ups and downs but I can only imagine all that pressure he had dealt with and therefore I'm not sure how I'd react if this was my life's story.
Kudos to You for trying things out,learning and living pretty cool life in the process.

Parker needs to get N2itive camber arms, $900 and he’ll never have any tire issues w his plaid and he’ll stop complaining about a simple issue to fix. To be fair, like he’s said in numerous other episodes, Matt rarely watches CZcams since his time is primarily occupied with a business and automotive journalism.
Like most people who don't follow CZcams drama, (or watch the VV channel), Matt was likely unaware of any controversy. I just assumed the guy had disappeared from my feed because he stopped making content, but I also never watched it. I only found out there had been issues thanks to the comments on this podcast.
Love this episode. Its great to get to see people not in video mode.
