I bawled like a baby after watching this (as did many others). Watching this MV premier near the end of 2020 hit so damn hard. Directed by Jungkook which gave it a more personal touch!
Yeah this song was pandemic related. Their whole BE album was one giant big hug from them to us comforting us in the pandemic. Btw this MV was directed by Jungkook. And the house and rooms you see is their actual dorm/house! Like the one where they sit on the beds, is actually Jimin & Hobi's room that those 2 share.
They don't full time stay at their dorm anymore. They all own their own multi-million houses/appartments lmaoo. But they always kept this dorm as their 2nd place. They stay there occasionally during busy schedules, to film stuff or just cuz they want to lol. But yeah, it's not their main place but this common house they all have that the members all can go back to whenever they want and I think that's really sweet.
you should definitely watch the behind the scenes of whatever music video you watch because i think you would like to be able to see their personalities
I feel like you should react to their tiny desk concert and armypedia next its a good blend of personality and their music also telepathy mtv is another good one that not only will you be introduced to new/old music, but its a fun performance done by the band also yes this song is about covid and bts missing performing infront of fans again and comforting us during these hard times

I can’t tell you how this song CARRIED ME through the pandemic. Even now I get tears in my eyes thinking of how comforting Life Goes On was to me and millions of others.
Jungkook was the Director for the MV. He really is talented as a filmmaker. I want to also say that the rhythm and melody are like a lullaby. Almost like you’re being rocked in a rocking chair for comfort. It really is the most perfect song. It’s still my favorite BTS song. I’ve seen it in concert and each time everyone sings along & LGO becomes such a healing anthem. 🙏🏽🫶🏼💜🫶🏼🙏🏽

Yes, I like this way of reacting by listening all the way through once without lyrics and then with. Personally, that's how I do it... I like to get the whole vibe and visual first and just feel what they're trying to say ;D And this is one of my favorite songs too! I guess this is when I first starting listening, I think this had just come out, and the album BE. Memories! 💜

You did so great calling what the video was about. I truly love Life Goes On. BTSc has mentioned often that many of them went through very difficult times during the pandemic, also, but they continuously did little thinks to help their fans get through it. I like that you are watching first, then going through again with the lyrics. It might be fun to then add on a live preformance, too.

I won't go off into detail about Jungkook directing this, because I'm almost positive it has been mentioned a lot down here in the comments. This song always makes me feel emotional. I love it so much. You should watch Yet To Come, their newest video, that one hsd me with tears in my eyes, just seeing how far they have come, and realizing I recognized all of the references to the past. The entire album from which this song came, is about coping the pandemic. I get goosebumps at your favorite place, every time. This is the first song I learned to sing in Korean…lol. I’m probably saying something totally different but I just had to learn how to sing! 😊
just a suggestion: u could also react to the behind the scenes of their mvs too (*mv title* MV Shoot Sketch on bangtantv). you could see their dynamics as a group, the music video process, and their thoughts about a certain music video. it's like killing multiple birds with one stone :D but don't feel pressured, u can absolutely watch them in ur free time
