Thank you for the video! Can anyone comment on the age demographics in SMA? We are “younger” super active retirees and hang mostly around people in their 40’s and 50’s. What percentage of the 10,000 expats in SMA fit that age group i.e. like 10%?

2:12 He is not joking. This is the truth. I am looking forward to moving to mexico but with the different changes in immigration I am really not sure if that is going to be possible. Is it true that the 180 days is not a sure thing anymore> I've heard that it now depends on if you can show them proof that you have accommodations for the amount of time you are requesting. Either way if there is a will there is a way. Blessings!

@@amarie3309 A lot of the red hats are boomers looking at retirement options abroad because they didn't save as much money as they had hoped. They're a huge presence on CZcams retirement abroad videos. They're a small minority of the US/Canadians where I live in Baja (Rosarito has a ton though) but they're very vocal about their politics and their anti-vaxx beliefs. They're a much larger percentage in places like Boquete, Panama and especially the Philippines.

More than 1 million and a half retirees, necessarily have to appear in the statistics. The same would happen in Spain if there were more than 1 and a half million retirees. Of course, Spain is safer, but you are not exempt from appearing in the statistics, even in the United States itself. Take a look at Campeche and Merida, the safest cities in North America
