It's really shocking how inventive some of these movie games were back then, I'd still love to play them now as an adult. Especially this game, I could get lost in those dream worlds, they were amazing.

The ps2 version was the PC version as well, the hell? You'd think I'd be the ps3/Xbox version. I played the ps2 version yesterday, this seemed like a well put together game even for a movie game

Yep. So was the Wii/Gamecube/XBOX versions. The version releases follows as; Gameboy Advance, DS, PSP, PC/PS2/Wii/Gamecube/XBOX and then Xbox 360/PS3
The PS3/Xbox version didn't seem as great... I mean, just compare it with the tutorials, you can already see the graphics being a downgrade and the dialogue is just 'okay, do this'

So I recently just got PS Now where you can play any game that PS Now offers. Well Ratatouille is on there. I was so excited!! I haven't played this game since I lost my PS2 and now I finally had the chance to play it again! But... something was different when I loaded it up. Apparently instead of collecting Apple cores now, I had to collect... tokens? Why would a rat want tokens btw? Anyway, so I knew something was off but my father insisted it was the same game I played when I was a kid, so I kept playing. Once the tutorial started I KNEW for sure it wasn't the right game!! Now, instead of hiding under boxes to protect myself and using the cute little soup cans as a raft, I had exploding peppers and the most awful controls I've ever had to deal with. Remy doesn't run in this game, he doesn't use his smell for anything other than to sniff out where to go in the game and you can't even SEE the smell cause the color just blends in with the background and there's basically no story to the whole thing. Just gameplay (which is trash btw) plus, the game looked so ugly. It was like flat colors with zero light or extra color. Oh and there is ZERO sound effects. I couldn't even get past the first level cause I was so annoyed. Apparently they remade the game for the PS3 when they could have just kept the same game and updated it for the PS3. I had to come find this video to remind myself how much I love the actual game. Much much better than the trash I played earlier.
