+Olivavu I'm 21 and I'm all into the 90's alt-rock scenes. Bush were great. Look at my picture, Ride were the best band in that whole decade in my opinion, one of the best bands ever.
oh kool i was at this concert and what a line up at reading 1997 from bush to Metallica, marlin manson ,to cast to the manic street preachers to james to the verve god the line up was awesome !!
Dave Walker exactly it was the time everyone went to concerts for the music 🎵 not like now where x amount of people need to hold up their phone 📱 like their trying to record the concert. BTW I wander what happened to Nigel’s strat after the start of swallowed coz I noticed he went to his other strat cheers 🍻
Do you feel the way you hate, do you hate the way you feel. Yes, i do. ☺️❤ Just not hate. I need some help to find what's mine, mine, mine. I totally have inated the same truths, but i dont need to be alone.
Strange how we all hated them in the UK. Swallowed was a good song. It just seemed like he was unabashedly trying to be a poor man's Kurt Cobain, so we didn't believe him.
Hey said you would, I definitely sing this line better. But he wrote the song, because he is a genious Baby of Dare. Just mine. I m with everyone and yet none, but not quite, fuck no, it is an individual case with me. I alone in my zone gotta get away from here...!!!
I always thought that too. Nirvana were too pop oriented for me and if you really listen to Bush they don’t sound like Nirvana. They sounded like the pixies , pj harvey . The only song that may have sounded alike was swallowed and that was a stretch. It was just lazy journalism from critics and jealously especially in England when britpop was big Bush were playing music that didn’t sound anything like that. I do miss Nigel in the new lineup I liked his guitar sounds.
Glad I never got into this band... too square, too goodie goodie, thought by giving em a chance years later I'd find they were just as good as other bands I liked.. nope. Bush is like for the alternative style females...
They are not a ripoff. Maybe they once said that they wanted to be like Nirvana, but they are not a ripoff. They make their own music. Bush is just Bush and Bush is not Nirvana.
I'm not saying he was a Jaco Pastorius, a Victor Wooten, or Flea... But once you're comparing wiht Nirvana, all i'm saying is he's not too far from Krist. But hey, each one have their own style and technique (or lack of it.. :P)
I think Krist is way more accomplished, honestly. His bass lines are not as simple as they seem to be. But whatever. I wonder if Dave Parsons' influence for becoming a bass player is Sid Vicious or not (both never picked up a guitar before they started playing bass)...Bush have always admitted the Pistols influence and even covered them. The myth is Sid couldn't play at all. Well...it's not true. He was not good, but to be fair, he was only starting out when he found himself in the spotlight! He mostly played root note bass lines, with sometimes a jump to the upper octave. Of course, he was all over the place - sloppy, jumping around, being wasted. But he mostly played the right notes on the shows where the bass is turned up. He would have gotten better, I think, had he sobered up and played more overtime. One good thing for Dave Parsons : basic bass lines, but no sloppiness. lol
That ending part to Insect Kin is one of the most beautiful things I ever heard
The 90s were awesome.
The only people who would say otherwise either are idiots or weren't there.
+Olivavu I'm 21 and I'm all into the 90's alt-rock scenes. Bush were great. Look at my picture, Ride were the best band in that whole decade in my opinion, one of the best bands ever.
+Olivavu oh yes! the 90s was a musical era, we have a lot of bands with diferent styles, the only way was Be Yourself and be Diferent =)
I was born in 1981 and bush will alway stay in my top 5 !!!!!
All had an atmosphere music was so real.
This is the real Bush.
I miss Nigel and Dave.
Chris Traynor and Corey Britz don't belong to Bush, that is not their style.
THIS IS THE REAL BUSH
Awesome Bush kick ass! I love The way of Gavin plays his guitar...smashing the strings!!
oh kool i was at this concert and what a line up at reading 1997 from bush to Metallica, marlin manson ,to cast to the manic street preachers to james to the verve god the line up was awesome !!
Wow its word for word great performance to Woodstock 1999, it auto played and every line was just as good as woodstock, LOVE YOU GAVIN !!!!!
crowds were awesome back then lots of energy
I just realised that this is because nobody was holding a mobile phone!

John Snowden, thank you for posting this most excellent performance.
The Reading Festival is The Sounding Board for Live Concerts in The British Empire - Good Luck BUSH
Cool video brings back memories, I was here right at the front could touch the guitar where Gavin jumped in awesome best gig ever
Brillz mate. This is the night, this is the sound, here comes the Bush Machine.
I pity the fool that doesn't like Bush.
Vamos Bush memorables años 90s de pura magia musical.
awesome
What the hell do you mean full set? Cause this is only three songs
Where's Baldy? since he left Bush left
Não é “full Set”. Faltam Glycerine, A Tendency to Start Fires e Little Things.
Yea Yea Yea!!!
Awesome🎉
This is not the full set...
duh

Do you have the full reading concert 1997 of feeder way back in 1997?
no, not really
From bleed well to read well 🎉
Need that Nigel guitar sound at the end of insect kin 🔥🔥
How is Gavin so attractive?
It's in his genes🥰🥰🥰
This is pretty sick this band was rad ill never be too cool for Sixteen Stone, Razorblade, and Science of Things was dope too
Do you feel the way you hate, do you hate the way you feel.
Yes, i do. ☺️❤ Just not hate.
I need some help to find what's mine, mine, mine.
I totally have inated the same truths, but i dont need to be alone.
I even like the way he spits! 🤷
I wonder what ever happened to the bassist from Bush? I assume he lives well.
He does. I used to live around the corner from him when I lived in Bristol. He seems to live a quiet happy life with his wife and kids.
Gavin was in the zone this day
Three songs is not a full set
maybe all that was broadcasted ?
There was another broadcast with extra songs (Everything Zen, History & Little Things).
🧚♂️

We got Bush in Canada. Cheers lads. UK press were too tough on Gavin. Sod them.
@@johnnyenglish9622 same way the uk was rough on inxs early on except inxs got too massive for them to deny their success

*👍супер и привет от тренера по футболу*
Bush are better then nirvana!#! There said I don't care !! Bush were just better!!! I don't think they sound anything alike

You have bad taste
Good God... the 90s were fucking terrible....
Worst Nirvana ripoff band ever. Luckily Mr. Stefani never amounted to much.
They are not a ripoff.
Maybe they once said that they wanted to be like Nirvana, but they are not a ripoff. They make their own music. Bush is just Bush and Bush is not Nirvana.
Listen to Comedown and Alien and then tell me if those are just root notes...
Two examples out of how many songs? He was/is a basic bass player, no offense. Tight, though.
