This is the testimony I heard in that little country church on Holsapple St, in Richmond ,Indiana. that cold nite in Feb of 1974. . . Before an alter call was given I went to the alter and gave my heart to The Lord and made Jesus my Saviour. Thank You Sister Lily for yoyr testimony and yoyr faithfulness to our Lord Jesus. Lily I must say you blew me away. Before I saw this viedo and If I had a chance to have 1 minute to talk with you `1:1. I would have said your famiily been a blessing & music has a great message & a joy to listen to for me. But it hasn't change my walk with Jesus or help me walk on water Yet until now "sorry" being honest. Lily because you trusted Jesus & share your story. Salvation for this 53 Ky man is no longer enough, I wanted same relationship with Jesus that you had. 1 of 2
My old shul (I am now a member of a Southern Baptist Messianic Church) has a prize that was given to exceptional women each year, the award is the Eyshet Chayil (Refor to the words of Proverbs 31 'A woman of valour' which is read by the husband and kids to his wife, their children every Erev Shabbat), she would be a valid candidate for this award. She is a true testamony of Faith in the LORD Yeshua! May she be truly blessed!
Wonderful....sister Lily ! You may have lost a few relatives but you have gained millions of brothers and sisters ! Jesus said those who do the will of God (the Father) are My brothers and sisters and mother ! You can be closer to a brother or sister in Christ than you can ever be to a lost relative brother or sister.
Such an amazing and accomplished group of entertainers.. have been through so much.. several divorces between them.. Sonya recording on projects with Miley Cyrus.. And still just doing their thing. Just amazing..
My own mother sat shivah for me, her story is very commonplace amongst Jews from post WWII homes or Orthodox homes. Accepting Christ was the most Kosher thing I did.

2/3 I felt incomplete with walk with Jesus & didn’t now why. I wouldn’t open up my heart or trust. My education from school & life told me it didn’t make since to want a friendship with Jesus. (I should be happy with my salvation). Having Jesus as a best friend wasn’t happening. Like being married & having a best friend all in one, it’s a dream world.
