2:45 on paper, Tremor has *more moves* than Kham.
But all of Kham’s moves are waaaaaaaaay more useful in waaaaaaaaay more situations and have waaaaaaay shorter cool down, making Kham waaaaaaaaay better than Tremor on paper, wood, stone and generally any possible surface lol.
But you will die in 2 combo, her health is bad now.
@@splovedreamKham gives -50 health. That’s not a big deal for a kameo that’s as powerful as she is. Nobody stopped using Khameleon when they gave her this nerf.
However, if Tremor went from +100 to -50 health, NOBODY would use Tremor. Why? Because he’s not worth it. Khameleon is still the most useful kameo by a wide margin.
Also nobody who plays at least moderately well is dying in 2 kombos lol

That's the thing about Tremor, unless you're playing a character that can cover themselves for it. Every move for tremor without spending the whole bar is a summon kameo move, and while it is useful like using the rock punch on wakeup, or the uppercut on a low mixup. Every other summon move is extremely bad to use, some of them are outright built to be used as an ambush.
Applying Crystalline armor, or using the magma up blast.
@@digamara522 But you basically can't use him after using one of his ambushes. You can use him in VERY specific cases, like tanking a hit, or setting up the armor, but most of the time Tremors moves are horrible if you don't make them an ambush. (And if you want to use Tremors moves as a summon at that point, your gonna be back to no kameo bar with the same recharge speed!)
Most of the time if you wanna use Tremors moves as a summon you need a hit to get going, or you need to be far away from your opponent so they can't punish you, or the pressure is fake, or your opponent can interrupt the move for a full combo... Like I said, it is a good team but it is just so expensive, other kameos like sektor, khameleon, even darius are better to use. I would consider placing Tremor higher for Scorpion if he did more with a full kameo bar than just giving you safety, or plus frames.
The offscreen 50/50 and the +100 health is pretty good though, still think it is all too expensive though.
don't forget that the cooldown for this full bar ambush is the same as the cooldown for one stryker grenade
@@QU141. Considering that the higher you go the less likely you are to get away with cheap Kameos like Khameleon, Tremor at least adds plenty of utility for whoever you use him for.
He's expensive that's for sure, but depending on how you spend it. It's completely worth it. Guaranteed punishes off of tanking with crystalline?
All you need is just a high damaging character, and if you can manage more than 40% with Scorpion he's definitely something that should go in the lineup at the very least.
Also I still think the most slept on tech that's been showed all throughout, is using Tremor to tank zoning moves so you can then punish with spear.

It should be way more than plus 4 on block when done as the ambush, the move list reads +4 for the summon version. Using Quan tremor, it should be in the neighborhood of 15-20
I kind of agree, I main tremor and tremor kameo has so many mix up options and hard to block able set ups with like every character. He’s my main kameo on Sindel, Omni, Homelander, Ermac and Reptile. He’s a complex kameo but gives so many option selects if you understand the kameo and has nasty tech. The recharge rate is a turn off tho, the only buff I want to tremor including own gravity to lava burst
Not a good team but double scorpion is fun to get a combo from the low chain move(B3) full screen. It's great to catch ppl off guard.

Mk Javier would body this guy. It honestly looks as if he just outplayed you, not that Tremor is a better kameo than Khameleon for scorpion. If someone significantly better than me uses Geras and I’m using Johnny Cage, they would still probably beat me. That wouldn’t prove that Geras is better than Cage.
Your title makes it seem like you or someone who uses Tremor beat MK Javier when he was using khameleon.

to me, tremor is basically old striker kameo. once you understand that tremor is plus after those moves. you have to block. scorpion doesn't have mix besides that corner tp. once you respect tremors plus frames you block . with striker it kept you safe. once you started blocking those plus frames he literally did nothing else besides basic scorpion bnb shit. once he tried the reset you blocked the low ...

You get the same safe pushback with Cyrax but can make way more use with Tremor.

When you call him, (just like shujinko) he cycles up n down in a risky place being jab distance away from losing your cameo string.
This is the only reason I dont play him.

it’s unfortunate that he tried Sonya Kameo with scorpion and didn’t like it. I too thought she’d probably work well with him with her new overhead but I guess not. And I suppose her other two moves just don’t really give scorpion anything that useful.

Sorry Diff, but I just don’t see the vision on this one. Everything shown in the video is just bait or plus frames, a few hard to blockables which are not worth it imo and a 50/50 at 20:05 which you have to spend full kameo for AND a meter to make tele safe. I dont think that you or Stop have really considered what happens when certain teams in this game gain traction, which is matchup knowledge. This team seems like it mostly thrives on a lack of matchup knowledge by the opponent but it thrives on that alone. If you play someone who knows the tech then at the end of the day, all you have are expensive plus frames, a few expensive hard to blockables(which if the opponent successfully defends, you have just cut a combo short for nothing) and a very expensive 50/50. Also I would like to add that you can tell what form tremor is taking from crystalline based on his animation, and it isnt subtle.
I think personally as a top scorpion player myself that ferra is the best kameo for scorpion atm. All the resets she does with the massive amounts of dmg. On top of that she makes scorpion really safe, and makes him like his old self, cause I can actually combo off of tele. At the end of the day though I truly think it’s to each his own and if you find success that others are not in a certain play style it doesn’t mean it’s bad or not good. Everyone has different playstyles even with a character as basic as scorpion.

There is a lot of strong teams in MK1 but most players just copy the same basic ass meta teams rather looking for their own tech. NRS really misjudged their player base and that’s a huge reason why people dislike kameos, it’s too difficult for them.

that whole twitter thread is just something that yall were taking too seriously imo. especially javier. while he may be right that you’re not going to win a tournament or get top 5 with scorpion/tremor, but that’s kind of an elitist mindset that a team is only good in a tourney. 90% and over of the community that plays mk isn’t playing in these high level tournaments, and telling one of those people to just go into a tournament while being a multiple time top contender for multiple tournaments for years is a little egotistical in my opinion. i also want to add that diff made a very good point by bringing up sonic using rain in the first major tourney. if someone won a tournament shortly after tremor came out with scorpion then a lot of people would say it’s a good team. i truly believe that, unless there is a major (and i mean MAJOR) disadvantage to picking a certain character, if you know a character and kameo combo inside and out and know everything like the back of your hand then you can beat someone who is still high tier but hasn’t mastered a top tier character. it’s not the character, it’s the player.
The other dude was the one throwing jabs constantly saying “just because you don’t know the tech” acting like someone can’t disagree and it has to be that they don’t know the tech.
Also they were talking about which cameo is better not if tremor is good or not. He say perform in tournament because that’s the highest competitive scene, you can make anything look good online.

The best kameo for scorpion is jax trolling wise. Watch the games that MKjavier plays with scorpion jax. He is asking for a nerf with the resets to infinity
