I made the bin myself using big plastic containers with lids. Poked holes as you did all around and at the bottom using a hot screw driver .No Tap. Just collect using a tray kept beneath. Kept bin in a stand to facilitate aeration and collection of tea

My compost tea is very dark in col. I add dry leaves kitchen waste saw dust soil and compost alternatively in a single aerobic bin with holes all around. Collecting thick compost tea in a tray kept beneath the bin. I collect and dilute the tea everyday and use it for watering my plants. No foul smell. Only earthy smell in the bin. The tea smells a bit in the beginning. As composting progresses no smell. I have three bins. First one when full will stop adding waste and leave it for complete composting in two months. Will start the second.

      Sir,
1- for this if possible then we can prefer two bins and once one completely filled then we can start using other. This will help to maintain composting cycle and we will start getting compost regularly from both compost bins.
2- Sir, please do not worry about this. Once it will consume by microbes, all the nutrients will convert into ions form and plants only uptake all nutrients in ions foam. Please consider these all as organic.

      Dear sir,
Thank you for your kind query.
Sir, if these are not beneficial earth worms then may be the moisture is high due to lack of aeration. Please add dry material in it.
      Thank you

Keeping it on terrace frequented by birds also helps. I had a similar problem and kept the bin open...the worms were devoured by birds in 24 hrs. Also you could add ash and dry soil as a final layer. Keeping it exposed to sun for at least four hours also helps.

      Dear sir,
Thank you for your kind query.
Sir, when we start filling composting material inside it then slowly during decomposition process it release some liquid. This liquid drain out by upper bucket and store in lower bucket. It also known as compost tea.

    • @organicgardening
      @organicgardening  Před 4 lety

      Dear ma'am,
Thank you for your kind query.
Light :- Ma'am, mostly indoor plants required partially light and some plants like zz plant can thrive in dark area also. We should always rotate plants from indoor to shade area once in week to maintain growth.
Water :- please maintain optimum water. Not more and not less.
Check soil texture once every two or three days and when feel that any plant's soil is getting dry then supply water.
Please understand that each plant need different level of water so maintain accordingly.
I hope this information will help and we will also make videos after considering your suggestion.
      Thank you

holy crap.. common sense is uncommon nowadays. And people always ready to make an issue..
What more you want ray? a REAL TIME 15 day video of the tea being created? And exact weight down to the gram and type plant material down to the various leaf type twigs, maybe a small dead animal? - then you still would say "its misleading you didnt say how much heat the bin makes or its temp when operating"
"you didnt say it would have an odour!"
its a compost bin fill it with whatever organic material you have as much as it can hold simple!!
if you wanna speed it up - do a tiny spray of water on the materials each day.
Why dont you use your brain the proper way?
Biggups and max respect to the uploader - you can't please em all.
P.S, if i sound harsh - havent had breakfast yet and sorry if i offend.
