    Lord please forgive me and restore me, create in me a clean heart and renew in me a right spirit, and please grant me the spirit of meekness for it is in your name that I ask amen.

    I pray in Jesus name to allow the Holy Spirit to do His will with and in me. I want with all my heart to be in that light after this lifetime and not to be far away from Him. I really really want to rule and reign, not for the sake of ruling and reigning, but for His glory and so I can be close to Him and feel like “I’m” doing something good for His kingdom. I pray for meekness, and to not complain about things and to just let the will of God to do what it can with me. I know I can’t do this by my own works so I ask the Holy Spirit to do it!
    Oh how I want this. I pray in Jesus name to always want this and to really really mean it every day of my life until we get raptured or I die.
    Thank you Jesus for giving your life for my old pathetic self and making me righteous the only way I could become righteous.
    Maranatha please!!!!

    Excellent teaching, having read a few comments, I can see that some still don’t get it. Yes we’re saved, 1 Corinthians 1:30.
    But if that’s it, then why are we called to ‘put off the old man’ and ‘put on the new man’. It’s dealing with the soul.
    Read Galatians 5: 18-26, this is to Christians, we either bear our Adamic fruit (the old man) or the fruit of The Holy Spirit (the new man). It’s a process, with rewards. I especially appreciated the point that it’s still not by the sweat of our brow, but by ‘abiding in Christ’ and allowing God to show us where He is going work next, seeing that nasty fruit, then bearing our own cross, dying to self and that behaviour. You may well travel around and around till you eventually die to that fruit and bear God’s fruit, but that’s what Grace is all about!

    This is what I thought of when you spoke, I would much rather have God's rich rewards than man's earthly praise. Matthew 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
    4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly

    I understand this message and embrace it, but I wonder where it leaves those who came to faith on their deathbed, or in the case of the thief on the cross... what about those who weren't Christians long enough for their heavenly rewards to be manifested in the life to come?? Any thoughts?

    • @kansmill
      @kansmill Před 6 lety +2

      I think those who have wasted their life will be so grateful to be in heaven and in awe of God that just being in Heaven with the one they love, Jesus, will be enough. I can't imagine the feeling of escape knowing that God was gracious to allow you even enough time to repent. How they will glorify Him!

      Barbara Callen Mohr , I believe the parable of the servants explained this. The Wealthy man went out to gather servants to reap his field early in the morning. Offered each man he came to a coin for his labor. In the middle of the day went out and did the same. Late in the afternoon he went out again and found men to reap. When it came time to pay each man, they all received the same payment regardless of working all day, or only a few hours. When one of the workers complained that the wealthy man paid them all the same when some of the men only worked an hour, the wealthy man reminded him that he was promised what he was paid. He went on to accuse the worker of false witness against him. In light of this parable, I've come to believe that if someone purely comes to Christ and repents an turns to him, even in the last hour, God's grace abounds. So I believe that the Theif did indeed join Christ in paradise that day. Perhaps he won't have the many crowns that others will have, but he has eternity to earn them in christ's presence. I hope that helps. The rest of us, are tested and tried here for our benefit in eternity.

    I always get confused with all the names. This helped a lot as far as what the right name, pronunciation and all that is. One thing im still wondering...Is Yahweh the Father or is Yahweh, Jesus. Some say its the Father and some ppl think the one in the old Testament was Jesus and what HE called himself before he came down in the flesh and became the Savior? Ppl came to this conclusion because Jesus says that noone has seen his Father or heard his voice(or something to that nature). Please help with this if possible. Thank you

    So if you were gonna say the closer or original pronunciation of HIS name...Would it be better to say Yeshua or Yahoshua(idk how to spell that fisrt way he pronounced it...the one that means "Yahweh saves")???

      DD Symba I read Carmine's comment and I found nothing mean or unChristian about it. He said he'd like to hear more from pastor Mac WITHOUT LESS of JD. I love both of these pastors equally, but both have a different way of presenting information. Perhaps you should really read the comment and ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit before commenting back. I say this in Love because I want the body of Christ to be One in love

    He's got all wrong. Salvation is an event NOT a process!! Discipleship is a process. 2 different things the man that showed up at the wedding is about showing up with your own works!!! JESUS provides our righteousness our clothing. He confuses the two. Think about it....Why would you be punished since He who began a good work in you will finish it...Who works? God!! Believe it is done! The just shall live by faith. Believe what this Pastor said and spend your christian life defeated!! He might mean well but he's wrong!

    • @mayaday8538
      @mayaday8538 Před 5 lety

      He wasnt say the believers arent saved by grace and faith to go to heaven, but he said our judgement will be based the fruits we bear as christians as far as the rewards we do get or dont get in heaven. Im not saying who is right or wrong about that. I just wanted to clear that up if you didnt realize what he meant.

    This would be a very great teaching if only it had not been made politically correct so as to not "rock the osas" boat which unfortunately, automatically forced it to be watered down to only "rewards" as if its the main issue with God when salvation is and will always be the main issue. God would not put so many verses into the Bible for "sanctification" just for "rewards" only...its for an eternally more important purpose which is the ultimate salvation of a soul!!!
    He always goes for the HIGHEST price which is "salvation" and Satan knows it as well because he would not want to waste even a second of his time to stop a Christian from just "being sanctified" if he knows that he cannot also rob that Christian of their "main price or goal" which is ETERNAL SALVATION eventually.......Think about it.....Why would he waste time on someone he knows he could NEVER cause to fall from God's grace ever again?? The real reason why he is still "battling" with Christians is because he knows there's still a chance to have victory ( eternal victory ) over that professing Christian!
    The reason for a true Christian to "suffer loss" and have his or her "works burned up but they still are saved" is only applicable to those Christians who are building ON A "CORRECT FOUNDATION" which is Christ AND HIS FOUNDATION OF REPENTANCE FROM SIN and be forgiven by HIM everytime they confess it before His Throne of Grace......( This is what Paul taught as his fundamental "foundation" everywhere..) Read 1 Cor.3: 6-11 again and see clearly especially verses 10 and 11...
    The burning of their works stated in 1 Cor.3 are because of carnality and spiritual immaturity ( 1 Cor. 3: 1-3 ) BUT, nevertheless, they had built on a CORRECT foundation which means they are constantly growing and maturing slowly through REPENTANCE of their weaknesses and failures but didn't give up even though because of their immaturity, their works were mostly, if not all, made up of perishable "materials" ( carnality ) like spiritual "wood', "hay" and "straw" whereas the matured ones are building on non-perishable materials like spiritual "gold", "silver" and "precious stones' which had already been tried and refined by "fire" of their personal tribulations ( and they overcame them...) and therefore, it would no longer be able to be "burned up" on the day of their judgment which enables them to receive a reward for it which is only 2nd in importance to their "foundational salvation" IN JESUS CHRIST by their CONSTANT REPENTING AND SEEKING FOR FORGIVENESS EVERY DAY IF NECESSARY AS CONVICTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT AND OVERCOMING THEIR SINS WITH HIS HELP.........
    Those who do not build on THIS FOUNDATION OF REPENTANCE FROM SIN THROUGH JESUS'S FORGIVENESS ALL THE WAY IN THEIR WALK OF FAITH WHENEVER NECESSARY are NOT EVEN "QUALIFIED" TO EVEN BEGIN TO BUILD ON THIS PRECIOUS PRICELESS FOUNDATION, LET ALONE "SUFFER LOSS" ON IT....THIS IS WHAT PAUL IS TEACHING in 1 Cor.3 AND THAT'S THE VERY HEAVENLY STANDARD OF ALMIGHTY GOD!!
    This pastor may have preached this out of trying to fit in a "non-negotiable OSAS" into this and that's why he also has no other choice but to focus only on rewards in order to justify what he is preaching and teaching about this subject but unfortunately, it is glaringly clear where he is falling short of it for those who know what that part of the Bible really is saying.......Jesus is coming so soon, the Church had better get this right or really suffer the danger of not even being qualified for "losing some rewards" let alone "receiving rewards" from the Master IF they are NOT BUILDING ON THIS ALL IMPORTANT FOUNDATION LAID OUT IN 1 Cor. 3...................Think about it seriously for YOUR OWN ( and your family's ) SAKE....You may reject this BUT, what If this is the ONLY CORRECT BIBLICAL STAND that is acceptable with GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT ON JUDGMENT DAY??
