I think if Philipa and Prudence are pregnant, it'll be girls And colin and Penelope, will have the first boy. I know Polin has their girls first in the book, but the show doesn't always follow the books

Am I the only one who doesn't believe that either sister is pregnant? I could be very wrong on this, but Nicola did confirm in one interview (Graham Norton interview during Covid if I'm not mistaken) that there would be at least one episode with lots of shagging, so it's very possible that something fruitful comes of it. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if both Colin and Penelope have so much sex during their engagement that they end up pregnant first. It'd be both hilarious as a giant F-U to Pen's family and incredibly satisfying to know that of all the Featherington daughters to produce an heir, Pen is both the youngest and first to do so.
Regardless though, I really do wish to either see a mini-Polin or hear mention of one this season or next season.

@@Destiny2Seishi I don't think it makes much sense for the sisters to be pregnant either. Philipia and Prudence are married, but they just found out what sex is and how to do it. It's unrealistic for them to be having pregnancy symptoms so soon, and it would be incredibly satisfying if Pen was the first daughter to produce male heir after having tons of passionate sex with Colin. After all, Penelope is the only one with a brain and knows exactly what she needs to do to have a child. It would also be a huge Screw You to her sisters and her mother, Who never thought she had it what it took to find a husband let alone produce a Bridgerton heir

If I was Penelope I would surely have a nervous breakdown by now. Imagine all that years loving him from distance and now she'll think if she tells him the truth she'll lose him like she's lost Eloise.
Also, just look at her family they constantly treat her like she doesn't exist. She's crying because of the lost proposal and her sister is announcing pregnancy at the same time like Pen doesn't exist.

I feel sorry for her. in fact, Colin practically disowned her in the previous season. and the question is whether, as he opens himself to love, whether he will overcome conventions. which nature will ultimately win in it.

@@CathariosaPersonally I don’t think she has much to worry about once she tells him. At this point, Colin is deeply in love with Penelope and is too big of a heart to cast her out like she’s nothing. This is the same Colin Bridgerton who wanted nothing but true happiness for Pen, the same Colin Bridgerton who saved her from a balloon incident, and the same Colin Bridgerton who gave his heart out to the woman he has always loved in that carriage. He’ll be upset and hurt of course, but he’ll come around pretty quickly and understand why Penelope became LW if he allows her to explain herself. And in the end of it all, I believe Penelope will do something that will fully prove that she truly does love him and always has.

I don't get why she should be punished for being LW? they bullied that girl for years and she did what she did to save Eloise. I'm sorry I dont' think she should encouter any consquences for that. I was just tried of her being the underdog... and if you notice any small piece of happiness if often deferred because of something or someone! she gets engaged and her happiness is threatend by revealing her secret.

Agreed! 😭 I quite like the interaction of Lady Danbury with Penelope in the books 😢 those things could have been included in S3 if only they weren’t as many subplots added during their season.
I wished there were more scenes of Colin and Penelope like they did with Daphne and Anthony’s season 🥹

When it comes to "Will Colin find out or will somebody tell him?" (I read the chapters) I would nott be suprised if something in between will happen.
Eloise observes Penelope sneaking out at some point for a Whistledown errand and tells Colin to go after her. "I threw the dice, may fate decide...or love even."

      @nika-pt2pl Před 21 dnem +2

Colin will see her sneaking out of the house at the end of the episode 6 and he will follow her to the printing shop, that's where she'll get caught by him.
Nobody knows what happened afterwards because nobody has access to episodes 7&8 not even influencers

Yep. Unnecessary time spent on the Mondriches (though Mrs. M is so beautiful), the older lady with Benedict, Lady D's brother. All that time should have been spent on main characters.

Me too! Spoilers from the books:
      :
      :
      :
Are we impressed by Sir Philip? I wasn't. It was him who won Eloise's heart ...in the books, I learnt. So then why write such an interesting character like Theo Sharpe (Calam Lynch), who isn't in the books? They let Penelope's youngest sister Felicity Featherington disappear in series. I don't mind if the producers take liberties. My fantasy is running wilde!
I would reinvent Theo as a youngest brother of Phillip and George or another important character from the family Crane who turned his back on nobility once and changed his name. He came back from London after the death of his eldest brother's wife or something like that to support him.
And the started answering Eloise's letters in secret withour her or Sir Phillip's knowing. At first, just because he is happy to have a connection again. Eloise enjoys the correspondence a little to much...
Poor Eloise. Imagine she will visit the Crane's residence and has to shout once again:
      "Answer me!"
The "gossip kitchen" already cooking about a Calam Lynch's return.
