When it comes to Chanel, the bag I like the most is Chanel Gabriel hobo bag. I also prefer vintage Chanel pieces than the new ones. They look fabulous, they are better quality and the hardware is made of real gold,.

Gorgeous collection!! ❤️ I feel the same way about black bags. I'm more attracted to colorful handbags and haven't bought a classic black bag yet. If I ever want a classic black bag, it will always be available. Color bags on the other hand are usually seasonal and you might not see the same one again.
Maybe living in such a sunny climate makes you want a sunny and colorful bag collection? I live in a rainy dark climate so black is perfect LOL

the classic Chanel with gold hardware in black color you have was also my first Chanel. I thought I wouldn’t be wrong with the classic icon but I just used it twice (the first day purchased it and a very random day that I thought I should use it or waste it). After 8 months in my storage like a decorated item on my bag collection, I decided to sell it. After that bag, I know I should be honest with my need more than the price and brand name of the bag. I think that bag was heavy for a small one, and it was actually so small for my essentials, and the clap wasn’t nice actually, especially when I tried to fulfill all pockets in that bag, the chain was quite not as perfect as I thought, it wasn’t big enough, or not comfortable to change the size. I couldn’t do crossbody for that, I just can shoulder bag but it was not that stable on my shoulder. It was a bit too luxury by the look (as lady Dior) for daily use.
I think the turquoise blue Chanel bag is a very fresh Colour with floral dress, white tees and washed denim jeans/shorts. It is a spring and summer Colour.
