I don't really understand this kind of test... Tests like puting smartphones in water is ok, because it's indeed possible... but in fire? Seriously??? I don't aimed especially at this test but to all of those which seem to be pointless, since it has nearly no chance of happening, like rolling on a smartphone with a car or shooting it with a gun... Yep, I'm still looking for the purpose of all of that. If you don't want your money, I would be glad to enjoy it :D

Samsung is made out of a type of plastic, so that shit just melts away.
Even made of glass, its thin glass, and thin glass will break in fire, I've done enough cleanups on homes with fire damage to know that. Thick glass has a better survival rate, but doesn't wipe clean that easily unless the mess is hand-smeared on.

Had a iPhone 5 before loved it than I got really bored with it quick because you can't do everything like a Android can. Than I got the Galaxy S5 will never switch over again I love it. Android is far better because the free ability to do whatever you want with your phone instead of iPhone you have to jailbreak it to take it to its full extent. The virus issue please people android is like a PC and iPhone is like a Mac learn to take care of your phones every device gets viruses. Apple is a enclosed based source while Android is open and easier for developers to make apps and ui changes look at Cyangenmod they made their first phone by using Android development and its pretty cool what it can do Apple is solo on 2 phones now and honestly not eye catching I like the iPhone 5s design better than the 6 or 6+. So to settle it Apple is behind because they waited to long to pull the trigger if Steve Jobs was still alive there's no telling how the iPhone would've turned out. Anyway like I said Apple is behind and in order to beat Android they need it to make a open source phone and test it and if I'm right it probably could out run the newest Android devices but since Lollipop and the new nexus 6 in the fray and with newer devices like the s6 and HTC m10 possibly or M9 its going to give Apple a run for their money.

On Apple, it's called a jailbreak, on Android, it's called rooting your phone.
On Apple, the controlled hardware and curated store ensures consistency between all apps in the AppStore, on Android, there's so many variations of phone, UI, and manufacturer, that half the Store contains weak, lacklustre products.
Behind right now? I bought an iPhone 6 3 weeks ago, and my girlfriend bought an S5 - guess which one of us isn't happy with their phones after the latest update the companies pushed out - it's not me.
Want to mute your phone? Nope, sorry can't do that.
Memory / Process leak? Sorry, still haven't patched that.
Clock is wrong? Still no fix.
Battery life got you down? Yup, still no fix on that.
Bluetooth/Wifi dropping out? Just reconnect yourself manually.
Camera not taking photos? Thankfully there IS a workaround for that one.
HTC does have some interesting devices - always have, so hopefully their new offerings will trump the piss poor offering by Samsung right now.
As for the S6 giving Apple a run for it's money - is that based on how different and more advanced the S5 is to the iPhone6? From where I'm standing, they're both almost identical...
Peter Dolkens um on Android you don't have to root it unless you want over clock your phone or make crazy changes to it. Now when it comes to software I admit Samsung is pretty shitty when it comes to releasing the newest software and idk why they release it all at once like Apple but that's not what I meant from being behind. Mostly all the software that apple runs now is copied from Android and the community of Jailbreakers of iOS.
Mute button yah but that doesn't really bother me just swipe the notification bar and tap mute.
Memory leak never had a problem with it leaking memory and I'm a heavy user.
Clock never had a issue.
Battery life dude never had a problem with it and in fact here is something you can't do with your iPhone buy a extended battery. I bought one for mine because I do a lot of traveling and its absolutely amazing I can go a full week without charging my phone. Zerolemon makes a excellent battery hands down. But for iPhone you got have a power juice from mophie or wait by a charger port.
Again never had a problem with Bluetooth it works perfectly fine with my wireless headphones.
Again never had a issue with this Camera issue and didn't even know there was one.
I agree with on the HTC part as well they are making some neat new phones and look forward to trying them out.
As for the s6 we don't know until its been completely released however if you look up the Galaxy A7 dude the phone is big as the 6+ and speeds are ridiculous.
For the s5 and iPhone being similar dude not even close even though they may look like it they are far different you just have to dive into it.
The appstore for Android is getting there just give it sometime and it will get up there with Apple.
Just in the long run everyone has there own opinion what's best for them and Android is just my type of OS I don't want to be confined like apple where I have to wait for a jailbreak to do what I want to my phone where android you can go nuts with it.

I'll get my partner to look into swiping the notification bar for Mute - she used the feature heavily, and so far all the articles we've found just say it's not available any more.
Memory Leak / Battery life is Samsung specific in Lollipop I believe - something to do with apps re-launching themselves once closed.
Clock is a minimal issue - runs 1 minute behind apparently. Either way, Apple had a clock issue a few years back, and it was fixed within a week.
Even if we ignore the reported connectivity issues of Lollipop - Connecting to anything except a super basic network in Android is a nightmare compared to iOS - Try connecting to a WPA Enterprise network using a RADIUS server - On iOS you just select it and get prompted for username/password. In Android, you have to enter about 10 settings just right, with terrible labels, and some of them need to be repeated...
I had the issue with the camera the other day when I tried to take a photo with my partners phone - took me a few minutes to figure out how to fix it.
I meant spec wise the 2 phones are very similar - Both were basically "Put a faster chip in it, and add a fancy fingerprint reader" - Though the IP67 rating of Samsung is nice.
I have seen much better quality coming out of the Android experience lately, I'll pay that.
Ironically though, part of this is due to Google abandoning the open source versions of the base apps like messenger and mail, and replacing them with proprietary/locked in code - which is one of the biggest arguments people have against Apple.
As for Android being your type of OS - absolutely. There is a demographic out there for which Android makes the most sense. 5 years ago, I would have been in that demographic - I spent time jailbreaking my phone, and maintaining my own custom theme-set etc. I had the time to burn, and I enjoyed it.
Overall though, I still think iOS has a much smoother, and user-friendly UX than Android (Although it is much closer, especially in smoothness, over the few releases), making it a much better phone for the general populace that want a phone to be a phone, not a computer replacement.
I will vouch for Android when it comes to the low-cost niche though - It has brought a numerous of great products to a vast portion of the population that would otherwise have been left behind, and for that, I salute them!
