Well, I think the new European Kia Rio does 80MPG+ imperial. That's quite impressive. And then there's the VW XL1 prototype...

@MrFrozenCanuck well hyundai and kia are the same thing. also Kia and hyundai are making reliable cars now. they might dont have a long history as the japanese, but the newest models are worth to buy.

@R8Prototype well,it is too late for them to change name now. hyundai had option to kill kia when it took the control of its rival, kia, but it didnt because it was internationally recognized brand (although it was crappy brand at that time)

there are other brands like daewoo, isuzu dihatsu susuki but couldnt make it we or at all in the american market also this car has a diesel engine in europe.. dont know why they dont try to sell one with a diesel engine here....?
