    Been thinking of doing this, thanks much. Highly recommend 12 tooth front and 49 tooth rear sprocket with speedo healer.

    I got the 650 shop ones and I love them, I especifically skipped the Woodcraft ones because I didn't feel comfortable drilling any holes. My only gripe would be that I don't know how I'm going to mount a GPS on the handle bars for trips. I've been trying to figure it out but can't seem to come up with a solution. Either way, I'm VERY happy with them and I've had them on for about 3 years now. The bike handles corners so much better now and the wind doesn't blast me in the chest like it used to with the original handle bars.

    Hi.. What if i want to lower my bike. Will the brake lever and clutch lever hit the fairing?

    Does anyone know if I could do this to my 2020 ninja 650 abs?? The stock bars are too upright for my liking and wanting to change it to more of an aggressive sporty lean forward! Any tips will help!

    Just noticed your bars either extra long or you just dont have them pulled all the way to the end where they connect to the riser

    Are the grips the same size or is the right side bigger then the left?

    Hey man, great video - will definitely be referencing this when I change out mine! Question for you -I have a 2016 650 and it seams like ninja650shop isn't operational anymore - where can I get parts/upgrades such as frame sliders and such? Any info would be great! Thanks :)

    What size handgrips are you using. I’m stuck between ordering a 4.5 or 4.8 inch pair ?

    cant u just use a pipe cutter and take the ends off the handlebar to put in the woodcraft mount so u don't have to make new holes?

    I'm a little late to the party... but I am looking at getting a 2017 ninja 650 and that is the first mod I want to do is lower the bars. I do love how your bike looks..more of an aggressive riding postion. You said they are 1" risers? When you bought the bars was it came as a whole kit? Or did you have to buy other stuff separately to complete the handle bars?

    • @jojosanchez4331
      @jojosanchez4331 Před 2 lety

      It’s a whole kit. The only thing it doesn’t come with are the bar ends. You would need to buy bar ends because the stock ones will not fit on the woodcraft bars

    working on a 2008 that has been down on both sides. one of the bar ends weights broke off and now the actual handlebar won't accept a weighted end. the threads are pooched. all i need are new bars to slide into the clip ons. any idea where i could get these?

      i wonder if these would work I could just cut the bars straight and insert them ? www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bike-master-drag-bar-78-handlebars

    I can’t seem to remove the throttle no matter how hard I pull. I even said fuck it undid the housing and it is glued to the handle bars.

    great video. btw, does the woodcraft sport bars fits the stock bar ends?

    • @akaryanreynolds
      @akaryanreynolds  Před 6 lety

      They do not, the stock ones are connected with screws and the Woodcraft bars are hallow.

    Nice video. I'm still on the fence about switching to clip ons. For one, I'm 5'8" so going super low will have me laying over the tank. Also, I'm curious how more aggressive the bend is with the Woodcraft bars vs stock.
    Love your bike man. 2016s rule ;)

    • @akaryanreynolds
      @akaryanreynolds  Před 6 lety +3

      Since these are not "true clip ons" they don't put you super low to where you will be laying on the tank. I'm 6' and the 1" risers are the lowest Woodcraft makes and and they are PERFECT. They put your elbows and hands at a different position the most (more tucked for the elbows and angled like a super sport for your hands), and only create a slight bend in your back. If your thinking about doing them DO IT!!!! I promise you will not regret it, definitely get the bars ends too it will cut down on vibration big time.

      I have a same doubt...
      Because a flat bar or more flat... it's must more cheap.
      😕
