Rob you are a great help to all. Nice to see you in this Chateau helping out. 🇨🇦🗽🇺🇸
Great to see Rob helping out, such a willing volunteer!
Rob needs to buy the chateau. He would carry on the excellent work you two have done.
Great to see Rob there giving you a helping hand he’s an Amazing guy and you both deserve a little help. I Can’t wait to see the hall completed both of you are perfectionists and everything you do looks fantastic.
Thank you 😊
You are one very brave man Adrian, thankful you got the roof fixed without an incident. Rob cooks tooooo, wish he could stay all year long
So does he!
Great to see Rob helping out. Your very brave Adrian getting on that roof. Lots happening at the Chateau
So Glad that Rob is there to help you
Henry's been replaced with another sucker. I died, ha ha ha!!
It was great to have Rob there to lend a hand. The origami chateaux are verry nice, and the chateau all lit up is stunning. As the hallway is nearing completion, I assume upstairs will be next in line for renovation. I'm really sorry about your tomatoes; their loss must have come as quite a disappointment. Still waiting for an appropriately fabulous chandelier for the hallway. Love you "guys"!
Thank you 😊
Try epson salt in the soil of the tomatoes, water at the soil level❤️
Tomaten houden van calcium.
The chateau keeps becoming more and more beautiful each time you post a video. Your hard work is paying off! I’m sad you are selling, but understand completely. My husband and I were going to retire in Portugal, however, my uncle died, and it would have taken a Herculean effort to get to the funeral and wake from Portugal ( we were there scouting). It’s important to be close to family.
Family always comes first 😊
So nice to see the hall lights lit up. Bummer news regarding the tomatoes. Hallway is getting closer to being done!!! So exciting
It's great to see you are having help and it's Rob,Ash and Terry 's American friend who is a lovely fella, O.M.G. A my legs are like jelly watching Adrian on the roof oh my thank goodness for the harness 😅😅, great video once again take care and see you both soon 💕🌼🤗
We had the same with our tomatoes, my neighbor told me to pour a gallon of milk and a gallon of water around the tomato roots because the dirt is lacking calcium , we did this and it works my tomatoes are great now. I haved canned 25 quart of tomatoes for winter. With more canning to do.
Great idea!
Love looking outside in. With all the lights on it looks like it’s being lived in.
The hallway is getting so close. The Chateau lit up at night was beautiful.
OMG. The bantering back & forth just cracks me up😂. Glad Adrian's done with the roof tiles! I was holding my breath. & Rob...a hero! Always working for all with a smile on his face. & he's so humble. & apparently his talents include "Chef". Clearly we can't afford 2 pay him what he's worth 😂. I'm sorry about the tomatoes Carole 😢. We here in America, state of Michigan, are fighting various problems in our gardens as well. & Matt, another great friend & volunteer. But the Origami...beautiful. What a nice gift. Til next time, stay safe all😊.
See you Sunday 😃
Our thoughts & prayers are with you both... it's never easy to let go of an unfinished dream. However you're smart enough to let go when the dream is more than you can physically handle and it interferes with your health & happiness. ❤️🙏
❤lovely to see the lights on in the chateau very special indeed
Nice to see Rob helping out. AT least he was your safety net Adrian😂 The hallway looks amazing😘
Thank you Annette 😊
@ 🥰
That roof height is terrifying!! Very brave man!
Keep Safe on The High Roof You Got Rob Helping You 🙏xx
The Chateau looks so pretty lit up at night!
Always loved this chateau,my daughter asked me the other day if there was any home in the world that I would love to have and I told her it would be this chateau. I will miss you all when it’s sold
Arrrhhh … Thank you 😊

It's a pity we don't have that rule in the UK. It would be nice to have a quiet Sunday.
Totally agree !!
I said the same to my husband - I wish we had that rule in the US!
you've managed to do a lot and having rob a big help ❤
PG Tips what a variety of jobs and Rob helping out . Hope your both ok 😮shame blight got the tomatoes Carole still cucumbers 🥒 looked ok . Take care 👍🙏🏻🙏🏻
Rob is a gem for helping out , great job on the roof Adrian 😊
Thank you !
Hi Carol and Adrian, the hallway lights look good, nice job. The area Matt cleaned out is huge, it does make a good equipment storage space. The roof is always a scary job, well done Adrian on that. Hi Rob, always nice to see you, good luck on the chair, I know it will be perfect. I have to say the lit Chateau at night " STUNNING" Love from N.Y.
Adrian deserves a gourmet meal after daring that roof.
I’m going large on my burger tonight 😂
🤣🤣🤣@
I was really shocked by how quickly the tomatoes succumbed to the blight. We've had one entire crop wiped out before, but it was a slow creeping sort of thing, over the course of a couple of weeks despite all our efforts. I'll wish you best luck for next year. Adrian, that looked terrifying honestly. I'm not so great with heights, so I think I bit my nails the entire time you were up there. And hi, Rob! It's great to see you at either or any chateau!
Nice to see friends of the chateau there lending a hand. Way to go Rob and Matt. I was admiring the medallion up high near where Adrian was working on the roof. Could be neat to replicate it in paint on the wall at the end of the hallway. Really enjoyed seeing the chateau lit up at night from the outside. Adrian may I suggest some powerful exterior lighting on the chateau to light it up as a dramatic add and a quick project.
I’ll add be it to my list 😂
How nice for Rob to have a cool room and his own bathroom for a few days during the heat and for you and Carole to have help. I've had blight on my tomatoes 3 years in a row with new soil each time. I think there is something blowing on them or the humidity is doing it. I'm planting and harvesting earlier next year for tomatoes even if that means a protective covering in the spring. I would not want to be the one on the roof, you are very brave Adrian!
It's great to see Rob over helping you guys out and cooking....
It's looking better and better. Love the updates. ❤
dear Carol , you should put the trimmed grass in the vegetable beds , that prevents the soil from drying out and weeds from growing
The reason your tomato’s got blight is 1 you had them growing on a wig wam type of structure they should be planted individually as they need air flow through the plants, 2 you had a load of leaves on the bottom you should have taken at least a foot of foliage from there and 3 when you water you have to water from the bottom point towards the earth because splashes on the plant will bring spores from the blight onto the leaves which will spread like wildfire.
Hope this helps you most likely know all this but I would hate it if you planted and lost them next year.
I agree. There is definitely an art to growing tomatoes successfully. Think more along the lines of espaliering tomatoes plants to ensure good air flow. Remember too that that you can plant the tomato plant prunings to grow additional plants.
Thank you for the tips, although last year I did exactly the same, and they were stupendous, just bad luck, they aren't the only things suffering this year, weather and infection has been a problem in the area
Bethany, did you intend for the hammer strikes to be in perfect timing with the music in the opening scene? 😂 These are the things I notice lol
Beth's on hols so I had to do the video, but never noticed..... Adrian
I said right from the big announcement video that Rob would be your buyer. He would continue what you are doing! He has been suspiciously included in multiple de Ferte videos and now helping out and even staying over. I think we have our buyer!
You’d better tell Rob then as it will be news to him!
Outrageous editing going on there @1:09, hammer keeping time with the music. (Even if it's a yt edit function, still cool. )
Pure luck ! Adrian
The Chateau lit up at night is beautiful. Friends are a blessing. I enjoyed watching today.
Great seeing Rob giving you a hand. Such a nice guy and hard worker. I would not want to be on that roof either. So sorry about the tomatoes 🍅 Matt did a great job with the weeds. Thanks for sharing 😍😘
Adrian glad you made it back to earth 👍🤗 I do not do heights😥
Rob is as great help🤗👍Can't wait to see the chairs the in all there Glory🤗Mat has worked wonders in the wilderness 🤗👍🤗
Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Personally, since Rob is looking for a chateau, why don’t you work a deal, then you can still be involved! 😊
Far too big for him
So much progress, such wonderful help. ❤
funny i was just watching someone else's video and thinking has Rob gone home 😂😂 handy restoration man 👍 Hes having a great adventure
Terry’s lost a great asset 😂
The hallway is going to be so beautiful when it is completed, your work is as always high quality. I really hope that whoever buys the chateau keeps continuing with your high quality renovations and who knows maybe one day we will get to see it finished. In the meantime I will keep watching while I can.
I hope so too!
Consider yourself overwhemlingly blessed by having great friends. You are now at a point that everything you do to the Chateau makes a huge difference. Looks wonderful!
So true! And thank you 😊
Oh my!!! ❤ All lit up- she's gorgeous!! The roof line and that dormer window on the top are so beautiful. I had never noticed them before but this time when Adrian was on the roof I noticed ❤.
Adrian, you are too funny. Love the comment about how we might see the "full glory" of the hallway, while you focused on Carol's wardrobe malfunction. Lol. Subtle! Lol.
😂😂😂
Oh, that was a treat to see the lights all lit up. And it's so nice to see you sharing Rob!! Great origami Matt, great job helping out!!!
It’s so nice to see Rob helping you with those difficult jobs Adrian. It’s a shame the tomato plants got some sort of blight but it can happen to the best of us and when it does it’s very disappointing. The hallway is nearly finished and it looks so good. xx
Yes it’s so close to completion 😃
Sunday used to be a day of rest in the UK, it was frowned upon by neighbours if you made a noise or hung washing out etc but with the advent of shops and businesses, opening 7 days a week and the fall in people attending church, all those quiet Sundays are gone forever.
Everything is looking absolutely great welldone
Good evening everyone I hope you are having a good week
Cardboard and mulch is the way to go.
I said that too
Wonderful friends! Great work everyone!
Just today I noticed how beautifully decorated is this dormer, where Adrian overcomes his fear of heights. It's good to have extra hands to help. Wall lights are on, applause! Beautifully looks castle in the dark with all the lights on. You've been working very hard, you've done a lot of things lately.🍀🍀🍀🍀
It looks amazing with all the light on. I don’t think I appreciated the beauty as much. Everything is looking good. Great job on the lighting Adrian. You guys have some really wonderful friends! Until Sunday………have a blessed week. 🫶🫶
Thanks so much!
Ooooo LA LA ! Hallway lights look fabulous and so cool to get all that insulation installed.
Since your announcement to sell... I have watched following episodes with a lump in my throat. But inevitably I have be buoyed by your steadfast dedication to de la Ferte. Your comment to what you have started and the lovely friendships within the Chateau community you share is so special and wonderful. I know that this, and the work, has carried you forward... and us a well. Thanks so much for bring us along... and wishing you all the best.
Thank you James!
You can send Rob round to my house when he needs a break.
Will do!
Love seeing Rob here, too! 😁

Thank you 😊
@ your most welcome truly 🥰
I am absolutely in love with how the hall is turning out!! 😍 And braving the heights! Well done, Adrian!! And Rob can cook too!!! I love Lalcelle as well. Your two shows are my absolute favorites 😍!! The work you all do is absolutely amazing 👏!! ❤
Thank you 😊
Love watching your videos, thanks!
Great you had Rob to help out such a willing worker and a nice bloke. Things moving quickly now lot of jobs getting done. I do hope we get to see you in the UK when you eventually get there.
Great progress ❤
Always lovely to see Rob 🥰
Great job Matt! Thanks so much Rob!!
It’s all coming along nicely!
Congratulations 🎉 on the electricity ⚡️ going in for the sconces.
Such a gorgeous home!!
Too bad about the tomatoes 🍅!!!! What a disappointment that is. Now’s the time to be picking them not for digging them up 😢
I don’t know how you both do it; still renovating the place and giving it your all while knowing you will be leaving at some point must be a challenge. Your work is going to pay off and make any potential buyer happy to know the work has been chronicled in your Vlogs and it was done the right way!!
All the best you all!!❤
Thank you 😊
Hi Carole & Adrian, Another great day with an extra pair of hands from Rob. So much to do always and the end of the growing season. Tomato blight, is the worst end to a season full of labor. Sadly it happens. Bugs got to most of our summer squash, but everything else did well. Mark & Scott
Just love Adrian’s Japanese safety shoes 😂😂😂
But they have steel toe caps! 😂
@ 😁😁😁
Great to see Rob lovely pleasant guy 😊
Great work it’s looking fabulous
Thank you Dawne!
Great progress. Rob should buy it if you are still selling. What a lovely guy he is.
yay! more help from an expert! Happy happy for you both 👏👏🍻
How lovely to have help can you send them to me 😅 brave man getting up on the roof !
I’m loving the wall lights ❤
Fairly certain I would have lost soul if I was on the roof. Rather be clearing that weed alley you noted. I literally get jitters just watching . Good him.
Rob, don't go back in the closet now! Your work is so valuable to everyone. You and Matt are great friends to help Carole and Adrian out. We enjoy the banter that Carole and Terry have. It is obvious that great friendships have been made.
Too bad about your tomatoes. Adrian, you pushed past your fear of heights and got the job done. Bravo! ❤
Yes Peter, secret is don't look down.....
Great video! I loved the origami and the chateau lit up at night , Beautiful. Blessings.
Thank you! 😃
Buckingham Palace is 24 meters tall.
Your chateau is huge!
Tell me about it!
❤ Carol it looks amazing the chateau all coming together still cannot believe you're giving all that up😢
Nothing will stop blight or the farmer behind my house would have a solution. Generally it happens when it's hot, wet and humid weather conditions.
Looks so good
Great video today. The lighting up of the Château was very beautiful. I find it sad that you are leaving. Life goes on right. ☺️
Yes it does!
Isn't Rob also not a fan of heights as well? Good job guys!
Thank you ☺️
Rob is the Dobey of the chateaus..
Thatbarea you cleared today would be Great green house if you put a sloped glass roof in there…
I'm impressed with your enthusiasm, considering the possibility of selling the Chateau.
At least Adrian has the sense to wear his Harness and face a fear or two with some help. Not thinking about it helps. Seems to have done the job without a hitch and on to another task. Not an easy task hooking lights up either and the repair after is a doozie. Poor wall! Anyhow onward and upward and forthwith or without or however the saying goes. They will laugh about it in years to come not facing them sooner. Like eating Candy you always get a different one. Later!
Too true!
I love your videos.
I would love to see a photo of you both back in the day. Wedding photo would be great.
This chateau is so beautiful 😍 and you are so hard worker 👍
Yes, thank you
I'm really sad that you have to sell this chateau. I totally understand. But I'm going to miss watching it. Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖
Do you know why their selling I think I must have missed that video 🤷🏻♀️
@@juliehale9491 it has something to do with Adrienne's business back in England.
@@juliehale9491new grand baby and more time required on the job at company business, Carole loathes being alone at château , absurd cost of ferrying back n forth and maintaining a home in England.
Devastating News You Don't Want To Hear...

I got the impression that Adrian and Carole may continue with videos even in England. I think they plan to buy a lovely English fixer upper! I am sure we will all learn to love another Adrian and Carole project❤️
Another good one.
It is a beautiful home, you have done such a good job , I hope you make a huge profit . ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rob is amazing!
Agapanthis will take over the garden. Well in warmer climates.
Yeah, there’s our Rob. Hope he stays in France permanently. Much love to you three❤
Thank you 😊
Love the origami! Thanks, Matt!
