Essa seleção alemã jogou "com o coração na ponta da chuteira", como se diz no Brasil. Muita luta, muita vontade, muito patriotismo. Chegou à final por jogar com o coração! Essa mesma seleção se refinou e foi estupenda em 1990!

Os antigos cronistas esportivos sempre diziam: a Alemanha, muitas vezes, não é a melhor, mas joga como se fosse. Verdade pura.
Perderam a final em 86, mas nunca desistiram daquela partida. Perdiam de 2x0 e mantiveram seu jogo. Bola cruzada na área, jogada de linha de fundo, chutes de fora da área. De repente já estava em 2x2.
This West Germany team had so much grit and determination..laced with a strong mentality. They looked like they would lose every game...but still found a way to win.

I remember that amazing save from Ezaqqi Badou at such short distance. What a great tournament that crowned Maradona and Argentina WC Champions.
Briegel, Rumenigge and Magath were at the end of their career. In 1982 they showed more skills, however this german team had Brehme Matthaeus, and Voeller: great players. I don't know:1982 was probably better, but I am italian and easily biased.
The German team was better in ‘&2, but not by a lot. If rumenigge was healthy in the ‘82 final and bernd schuster hadn’t left the national team in a huff before WC82, I think the Germans might have won against that Italian team. Then again, Italy seemed like the team of destiny in 82.

@@SKa-tt9nm World cup is always full of uncertainty. How many times do episodes decided the outcome!Football is one of the most unpredictable sports. I clearly remember 2002 Italy team: that was better than 2006 one which did it. The same for 1978 vs 1982. And Argentina in 1982 in my humble opinion was better than 1978 one. Cheers.
Present day German team is a mere shadow of the past….never say die attitude is missing.
They came third in the group in 1986 as in 2022. As a German I have to say that they were always motivated and made it very often through close games with the according doze of luck. And this luck was missing lately.

Agree with you; until very recently. Nagelsman needed some time to rebuild. The last 2 games the Mannschaft has been looking pretty good.

ثم عاد الالمان الذين لا يهدأون للفوز بها عام ١٩٩٠ في ايطاليا .. تحية ملؤها الحب والتقدير للمانشافت المدرعات الالمانية التي لا تعرف المستحيل ، وتحية كبرى للفريق البافاري الذي اشجعه منذ طفولتي بايرن ميونيخ وتحية خاصة للمهاجم الذي جعلني اعشق الالمان كارل هاينز رومنيغة .. ❤❤❤
