- This is a capture of me and a friend playing the Billiards mode of Wii Play for the Wii. This was recorded directly from my Wii (not the Wii U). I'm player one and Drew is player two.
My old two-player footage of Wii Play was only posted in 30 fps, and since Drew and I enjoy this game so much, we decided to record some new multiplayer footage in 60 fps.
I had actually been interested in getting Wii Play since shortly after I got my Wii in early December 2006 because it looked like more of Wii Sports. However, I never got around to buying it until 2011, mostly because I made the mistake of listening reviewers who bashed the game. It's a shame I waited so long because the game is actually quite fun. It reminds me of a lot of the simple black box NES games I played as a kid.
Billiards is one of the better games in this title. It's an excellent pool game in its own right, but it's a variation of 9-ball. I would have preferred 8-ball, or at least the option for that mode, but it's still quite enjoyable.
On a control-related note, I don't release the B button as I'm thrusting the Wii Remote forward, despite what the game suggests. I find it works better if I just keep holding B.
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the Wii's component cables at 60 frames per second.
We're using Wii Remotes. - Hry
Glad to know people still play on their Wii and upload it.
Glad to know people still play games together and we ain’t all degenerate cave men like some…
I wanna get the wii again just so I can play this game.
I claim to be the Pool Shark when I face my friends in this game
Why did you delete the old video of this when you and Drew's scores were very close together?!
I don't like to have duplicate footage. I just want a single video/playthrough to show off a game mode unless there's something special like different controller types.
Who scored the most points? You or Drew?
How to I get the game to let 2 people play

Can you hit a Masse shot in this game?
Is it common to find this game at thrift stores?
