If you looked at it you’d see that it’s a chest harness that also goes around the neck. The leash is attached below the shoulders and not at the neck which won’t hurt the animal when they jump and also keeps the animal more secure from getting out of it.
You know if someone loves them , It's not bad to have one ... Well I fed lemurs many times and they're very friendly especially if you train them and If you are well prepared for them ...

@carlomagnokidd - I'm sure you are well-intentioned. However, do you know how many ring-tailed lemurs are legally taken out of the country for the pet trade every year? None. Ring-tailed lemurs breed well in captivity and are available in the United States because of dedicated breeders and caregivers that have legal animals. I'm sure that if you met a well-adjusted pet lemur that is exceptionally cared for, you would have a different opinion. Take care.
