- This is a brand new keyboard from Keychron and it’s the Q2 Pro Full metal QMK/VIA Wireless Custom Mechanical Keyboard.
This is the fully assembled version with the Knob and I went with the White Shell and Keychron K Pro Red Switches.
My first Keychron keyboard was the K 10 with Blue switches which I have now grown tired of.
I could have just bought new switches for it but I wanted to try out a 65% keyboard anyway and this just happened to drop at the right time.
The Q2 Pro is made out of 6063 aluminum and is hot-swappable, It can be wireless or wired. Has a 1000 Hz Polling rate on wired mode, and has the double gasket design, KSA Double -shot PBT keycaps, and screw-in stabs.
It works for Mac and Windows and comes with a knob. And everything is programmable using the VIA software.
The Q2 has bright south-facing RGBs that come with 22 types of backlight settings.
You can adjust the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed, and different modes.
In the box, you have the

Instruction manual
Fully assembled keyboard
1 - Type-C to Type-C cable
1- Type-A to Type-C Adapter
The following tools
A switch puller
A keycap puller
A screwdriver
And a hex key
First off, this thing is heavy. Like no joke, it feels like it’s five pounds.
I have not modded this keyboard and I show how it sounds stock.
Which I am a fan of.
Thanks for watching!

Nice video! :) I just love the Keychron Q2 Pro, not out of the box though. Got the shell white fully assembled too, with caps and banana switches. The stabilizers are ok after some extra grease, but I didn't like the caps nor the switches and instead found some nice XDA and low profile caps along with black Gatheron Ink V2. Some o-rings on the caps, lube on the switches and a rubber mat in the bottom of the shell, it's very smooth and quiet now. Also got the Q1 Pro in barebone, but this one uses Baby Kangaroo V2 switches. Both boards feel very nice.
I will never go back to a conventional Ducky, Corsair, Logitech or what ever it may be again. None of them have this thick and heavy CNC aluminum body, they all just plastic and feel cheap, yet they still cost as much as these boards. Hopefully this trend will just increase and we will see more boards like this. I would have liked to have seen an RF version instead of the Bluetooth though, the latency is just too high for my taste. Anyway, take care! 👊
Got mine in white 8 days ago. I just lubed the switches and stabilizers. The switches aren't really factory lubed very well. It sounds way better after lube. I got the space bar rattle completely gone with dielectric grease and a syringe
Nice! You’re right, I need to lube mine as well. Space bar definitely has some rattle.
@@TechwithLukee Mine had more rattle on the right side than the left side
Exactly, mine does too. I appreciate you watching the video!
I ordered mine with the Keychron K Pro Banana switches - I generally prefer linear switches but the Pro Reds are just too light. V. happy with the Bananas, the slight tactile bump is right at the top of the key press. I don’t feel any need to lube. Very quiet, satisfying typing experience.
Nice! That's interesting, I was close to buying the Banana switches but came from Blues, so I wanted to try something linear first. I will definitely be buying the bananas at some point soon. Did you get the white shell too?
Just got mine today. Loving it!
Congrats!! Me too!
white shell looks super cool, I'm just afraid it will get dirty and yellowish overtime :s
한국에도 화이트 버전 좀 빨리 출시되었으면 ㅠㅠ I hope the white version will be released in South Korea soon
I hope so too!
how is the wireless perform? is passble for gaming?
The polling rate is 1000 Hz on type-c wired mode (90 Hz on wireless mode), which makes the latency not noticeable to me but I also don’t game that often.
钢丝音让我要抓狂了,哈哈,需要好好改造一番
Lol I will be modding it soon.
can you use this wired and wireless?
Yes, you can use it both ways!

All good, stick with what you like best.
@@TechwithLukee tell me the truth you think this is better? I really like the look and it’s 65 that’s why I want it
Do you feel like the flex makes the stabilized keys sound and feel sloppy?
I haven't used that keyboard so I can't speak on it if it's better or not. @@AphillyatedYT
Not to me but, that's just my opinion. @@AphillyatedYT
Ehh it sounds just ok
I appreciate your opinion, thanks for watching.
