- This space shuttle was the result of one of the most ambitious projects in the history of Russian space flight. The huge shuttle is 36 m long, 16 m high and weighs about 80 tons. As was the case with the US model, reusability after near-earth space flights was of major importance. The BURAN prototype OK-GLI shown in the museum was built in 1984 and was used for testing glidingflight and landing after reentry into the atmosphere.

Wahnsinn, das ist natürlich ein Highlight.
Unglaublich, kaum zu fassen, dass man so einem Wunder soooo nahe sein kann.
Heute war ich im Museum in Speyer, ich musste es einfach anfassen!!! Man kann es sich gar nicht vorstellen wo diese Maschine gewesen ist, an einem Ort wo die meisten von uns nie sein werden
Ja ist der absolute Wahnsinn, ein tipp wenn du dich für sowas interessierst, flieg mal in die staaten, ich habe da die endeavour gesehen, absolut geil und Atemberaubend.

Это экземпляр для отработки полета и посадки. В космосе он никогда не был. Летал как самолёт.

Немцы уважают нашу историю больше чем мы . Посмотрите как этот летный образец на котором стояли двигатели от ту 154 и он учил Буран летать. Быть самолётом! Стоит и красується в музее. В отличии от Бурана который летал в космос погиб под обломками ангара. И разграбленная дублёр Буря с макетом бурана стоят, в не кому не нужном ангаре на Байкануре.
Потому что враги и временщики управляют Россией последние 30 лет. Это очевидно же

Потому что это как ни как особенная машина, ну и конечно же они гордятся тем что Буран стоит именно у них.
Честно скажу, была в том музее в январе 2023, это был такой восторг, такая гордость.
Немцы очень бережно под стеклом хранят газету с выпуском первого человека в космос с Юрием Гагариным, там вообще оооочень много всего!!!
Можно ходить и ходить, очень интересно!
Только стояли двигатели ал31 от су27 в компоновке как у ту 154;)

Сберегают. Сейчас он стоит в музее и доступен к просмотру. Те что в России остались, гниют в ангаре.
Пройдёт не так много времени и величие СССР можно будет увидеть только у немцев, которые понимают, что такое история.

Hell, the Technik Museum Speyer got a Buran? I wasn't there since 2007 or so, I know what I will do next weekend.

Wissen sie ob es mal auf der Antonnov 225 Über Kasachstan geflogen ist weil mein vater erzählte das er als kind es mal gesehen hat und nicht weiß ob es genau dieser buran ist oder ein anderer wäre cool wenn ihr das wisst aber wenn nicht dan nicht

No they don't. Even though I like the US program more, the Russians have put the first man, woman, and space station into space, and also the Buran was fully automated unlike the US space shuttle which need a manned crew. Also the reason why the Buran was discontinued is that the Russians saw no point in wasting money for the Buran when they didn't need it. The Buran was also destroyed when the hangar it was stored in collapsed.
There is one more it costs and rot in the hangar along with the test shuttle. In total, 2 were built for space and 4 for test tests. This test shuttle for atmospheric tests

Mir was outstanding and more prestigious, so why having a ultra-expensive space shuttle when you have soyouz capsule ?

C'est pas le Buran actuellement, c'est son "analogue aérodynamique" dont la mission était de développer et perfectionner les schémas des vols atmosphériques du Buran

@@yangliu4506 puisqu'en fait c'est assez dangereux de conduire le Buran situé au Baykonur hors de son hangar. Le dernier-un est vieux, dûr et titubant alors on ne sait vraiment pas que faire...Roscosmos promet de l'en transporter pour Russie de temps en temps mais rien n'est encore effectué ://

@@addicz2 Buran is a spaceship that flyed in 1988 and died in 2002 from the destruction of the hangar. On this video "article 0.02", or БТС-002 ОК-ГЛИ. It intended for ground research and test flying in atmosfere. It has the same parameters like a Buran, but without rocket engines. It has 4 AL-31 turbojet engines.
