Chris seems to get better and better -I've followed his progress for many years, he has led some marvellous groups along the way and this one is really good. A wonderful upload-thank you.

I saw this set in London's Ronnie Scott's. While the set was amazing (of course it was duh) I didn't enjoy it as much. It's just so annoying having people eating next to you and waiting staff going around taking orders serving taking payments etc while you are trying to concentrate and take everything in. Just the whole experience of going to Ronnie Scott's for high end jazz is completely overrated. Anyway rant over.

I was there too! I couldn't believe they were still serving food and collecting plates. Also, I thought the band could've been much louder, hardly heard the piano all night expect from solos. Yeah definitely over rated, seems like it's more for tourists

@@kevinhenderson9841 Not only were they still serving plates, they started going around taking payments before the set was over because they needed everyone out asap for the second set. I've had this problem with Ronnie's many times but I am such a Potter fanboy that I couldn't not go. For the Jazz festival he played at Cadogan Hall with the Aziza group and it was just sublime. Why can't Chris Potter be brought to a venue that he deserves such as the Barbican?

I hate it too but most jazz clubs are like this, no?
