Like clearly not, side b in sm4sh/ult is pk fire while in pm it’s pk freeze, neutral b is completely different being a slow pk freeze that’s barely usable in competitive play in 4/ult while in pm you have pk offense up which is super useful. And that’s just his specials, but a lot of his normals have either different properties, animations or both, up tilt looks different and works slightly differently, jab is a completely different move, dash attack is a combo starter that sends up instead of a kill move, pk magnet is a powerful combo starter where as in 4/ult it’s barely got any function besides absorbing energy projectiles. While there are obviously a lot of things in common between pm and 4/ult Lucas it’s pretty ignorant to pretend that they’re similar save for DJC (especially since ult now kinda has it as well)
somewhere around 19:45 they mentioned Lucas's up b travels faster than Ness's up b, but this is not true, the reason the arch is smaller on Lucas's is because it is so much slower it needs to take a really tight path to get to him quickly enough so that he isn't punished
I always play as Lucas in project m, I have no problem with lvl 9 characters, except ness... He makes me actually have to work to win while the rest is a walk in the park.
