I think $20 for the full strand is cheap. We charge by the ft. We are currently at $2.50 per ft. If they rent more than 300ft the price goes to $2 per ft.
@@therentalguy we only have one price. So that would be installed or picked up. But that dose not include the delivery. So if we install they would pay that price plus delivery.
We make more money on lights if we install them, plus we take better care of them. So we would rather customers not pick them up. We can hang 500ft of lights in our 40 wide tents in about 30 minutes. So that's what we push them towards.
Great advice. I am going to order some lights to start renting. I have a few questions. 1. Can you connect one set of string lights to another string light to make it super long? 2. Do you connect the lights to the owner's electrical outlet? 3. What do you use if there is no power source? We have been setting up tents in fields. 4. Where do you purchase replacement bulbs?
@@TheLifeofJenelle 1. Yes you can. If your using incandescent lighting we found that about 4 strands 96 ft was all that we could do. Adding a 5th strand normally blew a breaker. Us LED lighting. We buy and keep them in 500ft strands. We have done up to a 1000ft of LED off of one plug.

Is that for pickup lighting or installed? This is for pickup lights, hence the only labor is packaging the lights.
