Wow, she is GORGEOUS! That oil slick finish is just breathtaking! I just recently got my first Petite Malle, also karung, but in black and with crystals on the hardware. I could not say no when I laid eyes on it. Now I know what you have been talking about with the Petite Malle; it is a classic, it has so much of the heritage of LV behind it, and they are each individual pieces of art.
Here in California, lizard isn’t available to us became of the recent ban, but I agree, lizard and karung are so similar I can’t actually tell the difference 😊

I’ve been torn about whether to get the Karung lilac Petite Malle coming out or the Ostrich pink/purple ombré. I’m so happy you unboxed this because I thought the lilac Karung was lizard too. So I might just get the Karung & you’re right the price is great, $5k less than the ostrich. That colour is just beautiful, makes your eyes pop!
