    As a new park rider myself I say:
    Start small. Hit those progression feature a lot. I mean. A LOT! 50-50 them until you can do them in your sleep.
    You really need to be in tune with what you’re doing, not just lucking your way through.
    Only then, start adding in the back/front slides.
    Going big too early is a great way to get hurt. If you’re hurt, you can’t ride. If you can’t ride, you can’t get better.
    Big love to the grinders out there!
    Big love to CDubs

    Do you have a video on how you de-tune your board for rails? If you de-tune your board for rails?

    On tip 5 how do you angle your board properly is it in the ankles?

    • @snowboardhacks
      @snowboardhacks  Před rokem +2

      Honestly you gotta be like water. Let your hips ankle knees feet legs everything just disengage till the board goes flat. Then reassemble structure hahahah.
      Example. That might mean your toes go dorsal flextion when it’s a down rail, allowing your heels to si k down and your toes to raise up… matching the angle of the rail

    Tried to hit a rail last season and broke my finger and needed surgery after my first attempt. As soon as I popped on my feet flew out from under me and jammed my finger into the rail. Terrified to try a rail now :(

    I can boardslide 70 percent of the time but the other 30 I always catch my front edge on the rail or I do sometimes lean too far back. Any advice to not catch my edge?

    • @Mariusz-hd3wq
      @Mariusz-hd3wq Před 4 měsíci

      Stay low on your knees. When youre high on your knees and lean slightly the board leans a lot with you but if youre low on your knees it will be a lot harder to fall

    how about speed? Should i slow down enough to really spot the rail and figure out when i’m gonna hop onto it at, or should i keep a decent bit of speed and just cruise the the rail a little faster?

    • @basedyoungman7687
      @basedyoungman7687 Před 3 měsíci +1

      come a little faster, more prone to catching that edge on the box or rail while going slow it almost makes it seem longer while going slow if you come in with a decent amount of speed you will typically come out a lot better
