      @@KeithronPowell I got it! Only unboxed, but planning on assembly in a bit. Already put the app on my phone. Wife out of town for a week pretty soon, so looking forward to JAMMIN with some friends and seeing how it all works. Already looking much better than my Alesis Command X…which crapped out not even 2 years in 🤦🏻‍♂️ Any speaker recommendations? Been looking at the Harbinger (10? 12?)…not sure my previous Simmons one is still alive - but will see in due time. You rock! 🤘

      Curious how you like it so far. You enjoying it? Would you purchase this again? I’m looking for my first kit. Any suggestions or tips/feedback? Thank you in advance. Have a great day.

      @@keystonepirate2534 Unfortunately, I ended up returning it - did not have the right sound I was looking for. Although an electric set is fun and ideal, I’m just going to have to get the real deal. Too many things can go wrong (like my old Alesis did), so replacing skins/replacing cymbals is the way to go. Give it a shot though…it’s a BLAST. Get the warranty ☝️

    I am looking to get back into drumming with an ekit and have really liked your reviews for the titan 70 and it is right now at the top of my list to buy. I am wondering can you put a dual zone hihat on a stand on the 70 then use the included hi hat as a crash. I have been researching this and cannot find an answer so was hoping you might know. I was thinking if it couldn't be just hooked in in place of the included hihat thinking you could put it on one of the dual zone compatible expansion slot then just the sound assigned to existing hi hat could work.... I think. Am brand new to ekit so might be completely off there.

    Quick question. I am looking at the Simons titan 70 and the Alesia crimson 2 Se. I was unable to test the titan 70 so wanted your opinion on which you would pick of the two?

    • @KeithronPowell
      @KeithronPowell  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Wow! Talk about a spread in price. Two different categories but here goes. 1) Crimson is discontinued so I’d consider that something new ($1199) is coming if that’s ya budget. Actually…. Titan 70 because newer tech newer sound library, the app for both iOS and Android (coming in December). The 70 really is a step forward and with the exception of the size of the drums the 70, in my opinion, is way ahead of the Crimson.

    I've been wanting to get back into drums after about a thirty year break. I think I've watched all your reviews and I'm sold on the 70. I do have a question, since I've never owned an electronic set, can a full function hi hat(Roland, Alexis,etc) be used with the 70 module? Would like to incorporate a drop clutch eventually.

    For some reason I have not found any of your Titan 70 videos where you play with your hi-hat other than closed. I'd like to hear ghost notes too.

    Hi! I would like to know if the hi hat controller gives the half open sound? On the product description they say it does a variation of sounds on the hi hat. Thanks

      @KeithronPowell  Před 3 měsíci +1

      If I recall correctly it’s open and closed but I seem to recall it had a half as well. Been a while since I’ve played with the regular sounds since I record using this drum and EZDrummer software.

    The Titan 70 is really small....I didn't like the hardware mounts at all.....the rubber insert will dry rot, crack and fall apart....the plastic mounts seemed very flimsy....the set is very light so it would be easy to move just don't take it apart when you do....ok for a practice set if you don't mind the smallness of everything....not something to consider if you play out

    • @KeithronPowell
      @KeithronPowell  Před 8 měsíci

      Let’s agree to disagree… this drum is compact, light with a great sound.. could work out if that’s what you need for the gig. And if you put it together and don’t take it apart… you can transport it simply by removing the drums. No need to totally disassemble it. Just fold it and leave the wires attached. I move mine that way all the time

    I'm already tired of going after you, I never recommend this brand, worst regret of my life, buying this battery, you don't support it, I think it's a junk company. No logic. I'm going to publish this statement in all drum groups, alerting them.
