WHY I OFTEN DON'T MENTION OTHER BRANDS IN MY VIDEOS.
You may have noticed that I often don't mention the original brands that watches I am reviewing pay homage to. This is very intentional and not meant to offend you or the original brands. I lost my first channel in October 2020 which I had spent 9 months growing and invested a significant amount of money in simply because I had mentioned the original brands in some of my videos. There are people who try to use CZcamss lack of understanding when it comes to the difference between homage watches and fake watches to attack other channels and their owners and sadly I fell foul of this in 2020. This channel was also attacked recently and CZcams deleted content simply because I had said 'subby homage' and 'Rolex homage' in two videos despite the watches in the videos being perfectly legal homage watches. Please understand that I can not afford to risk my channel so I will no longer be mentioning other brands when reviewing homage watches.

I have reviewed a few Tandorios and have found them to be great value for money. I am about to review the coke version of this and like you I am finding it hard not to like. Great honest review Gary :)
Watching this wearing a (sterile) Tandorio bronze pilots watch that Ive had for a year and runs within a couple of seconds a day.
Dont let the name put you off, these are great value watches.
Thanks for sharing Gary.
I picked up a bronze "khaki field" sterile Tandorio this 11.11 sale. NH35 and runs about +10spd so well within spec. Can't believe I got it for $100, given it is bronze as well. I did need to replace the leather strap though as it was terrible, but that's par for the course for cheaper AE watches.
I have the sterile dial blue black on jubilee. Runs at +-0 seconds a day with zero beat error and amazing amplitude over 3 positions. With the other 2 positions its -3 a day. Amazing for the price!!
I purchased one six months ago, the watch keeps better time than any watch in my collection. All that for less than one hundred dollars, I can't stop smiling.
Blown away indeed by the quality you get for this kind of money. Gary, thank you for the review
Great video, nice to hear the surprise in your voice. Tandorio sells parts too, I have just received their bronze pilot case with dial and hands for £50 inc VAT. It looks nicely finished and I plan to pressure test it before fitting the movement 😁
I think we will see a pattern of "the new Pagani Design" brands coming through. Meaning affordable and fully spec'd. Like Berny, they would probably sell double the watches if they had a better sounding name.
Since I first saw a tandorio on the sale as you mentioned in a previous video, I completely fell in love with the design. glad to know that the movement and the sapphire they mention are true to their word.
I'm amazed at how much value you can get from these Aliexpress brands. Great watch, great review, thanks for the heads up!
Thank you for the honest review, Gary. I'm patiently waiting for nh34 watches to come out. This one is gonna make it hard to keep waiting. I don't mind the branding, more interested in the specs. I'll definitely use your link, if I buy one. Blue/black, solid back, with logo. Edit: I did NOT have to adjust my sound to hear you clearly. Don't know what you did, but your sound is great on my end.
I love Pagani Design, Corgeut, San Martin, and Bederry. There are more from Chinese watch manufacturers.
My main reason for going with these companies is that I find them to be excellent watches especially factoring in the price. They produce beautiful design whether homage or not, and use great movements. I don't want to spend more than a thousand dollars on a watch, I certainly don't want to spend tens of thousands. Just me.
Looks good, and great value as you say. The Timegrapher is a pleasant surprise too ! With that Logo they could call themselves Toro ( Bull in Spanish ) rather than an Indian Curry Dish.
Thanks for the review Gary. I’ve been looking for a GMT for my collection, and this might just fit the bill, especially at this price point.
Good review Gary, and if I was at the start of this hobby, would have bought... Now, 30 watches deep, I'm prepared to spend more to get more
Wow! Thank you for finding this one Gary
Fantastic price and a modders dream watch. Dial and hand swap and that's a great little piece.
I bought a Tandorio for my wife (because she liked the dial) and have quite been pleased with it and the customer service has been great!
Love your videos and have bought a few bracelets from your eBay site for nh34/35/36 based watches . Oven even bought a sterile tandorio from another site - Francis - love it
Hello, Gary. I'm new to your channel and I do thank you for reviewing Tandorio. I've purchased parts from them for my Seiko Mod builds but haven't gone so far as buying a complete watch from them. This is a pretty impressive model for the money and I wouldn't shy away from having their logo on the dial. After all, I have an Invicta Pro Diver with an NH35 in it that I bought for $53 USD about a year ago, and recently acquired an Addiesdive MY-H8 for around $101, on a bracelet but I added the rubber strap for $15. Both of those watches have proven to be a good value for money because I can't build equivalent mods for so little money. This is a great in-depth review!
Thanks Fred, glad you liked it
I just bought a Tandorio with a mother of pearl watch face. Beautiful!
After watching your review on this watch, I purchased the “Batman” version with the Tandorio logo. I didn’t like the name at first, but it’s grown on me, and I would much rather have any logo or name to fill the space below the 12. I just can’t do sterile dials. I feel like I’m wearing a no-name watch, and so for me there has to be a logo. Anyway, what a great looking watch and oh what a price. I got mine for $77 today during the March Madness sale on AliExpress….I also purchased the Tandorio orange dial SKX007 homage on a jubilee bracelet for just $68. If I keep watching these reviews, I may just order another one or two before the sale ends. Thanks for the awesome review, as always, Gary. Keep up the great work!
Wow! I didn't expect this either. I'm going to pull the trigger on this even though I know this brand isn't very popular, a jingly bracelet (but hey, screw in links and adjust on the fly clasp). 200 meters of water resistance? Crazy!
I've got the tandori diver with a stainless steel case back and it's bang on. Been swimming with it and no issues either and I don't actually have plans to go diving, I just like the look of a diver
I'll be looking to pick this one up soon! I like the red dial myself...
I also have the Pagani Design version of this with the NH34. Paid $124 USD. It does not have the gliding bracelet clasp but I already had one to switch out. The Pagani does have a green lumed bezel, with bgw9 on hands and indices, and the total lume is good if not great. It is readable thru most of the night.
Like your Tandorio the nh34 is running very accurately between 0-4 spd.
Hi Gary, this watch seems like a great value. Also, I think you overestimate the brand name's negative image. It is my feeling that outside of the U.K., in very many countries, the culinary reference will be totally lost for the vast mayority of the population. As always, great work. Regards
Yea, no way this case back can withstand more than 8 bar. The people demand a water pressure test. Bring in Herman!
Just filmed it!
@@ILikeWatches2 Great! Can't wait!
Just received Tandorio 38mm 200M Grey Automatic Diving Wristwatch with sterile dial. Showed it to a friend whose collection begins with Christopher Ward's and carries on up to Rolex's etc and he seemed impressed with my watch for £55. Impressive watches and great value for money
Wow I hate watches with a Cyclops but I might have to get this - thanks for the review Gary
Mine is supposed to be here today. I chose the solid back and the oyster bracelet. If it's as nice as my other Tandorios I will be very happy. :-D
I've just pulled the trigger on a San Martin SN0054-G-B1 with NH34, bargain at £225
Very nice..I liked the 43’s of old but understand all the homage watches of this one are 40
This make owning a watch with a mechanical movement a reality tha ks for the video
My only opportunity to experience the nh34 was to buy a movenent and piece a watch together. Thank you for the chance seiko.
The 200m water resistance is for the solid steel case back. Cost cutting might be the reason why both models share the very same dial
Very attractive watch! Well done.
Great value! This one’s not my style, but I can appreciate all it has to offer. Can’t fault the lack of lume on the bezel (and weak overall) plus missing the bi-direction on the 24hr bezel at this price…they’ve packed as much as they can into this one!
Excellent value for money watch despite the brand name. Get the sterile dial and no problem. Nice Jubilee style bracelet and claspshould be comfortable. All in all a great budget watch.
Great video I dont have a GMT this could be it.
Hi Gary have a look out for the Debert GMT watch. This is currently around £87 on Aliexpress and does contain the NH34 as well. Looks decent and I’ve seen one positive Herman-less review online 👍
Looks extremely similar to the pagani design GMT using the nh34. Got mine in the Nov sale for £97. It's a great watch for the cash
I have a watch with a crystal back that is good to 500m, unfortunately I could never dive that deep to test it. This watch you have here represents excellent value for money 👍
Wow…that must be a serious piece of crystal
@@ILikeWatches2 It's the Steinhart ocean one titanium 500 GMT........phew. it has the batman bezel in ceramic, sapphire back and front, Swiss elabore plus movement, solid titanium links and case. It's very much work oriented but I wear it every day. I have higher end watches including a G.S. chronograph GMT in spring drive but I love the Steinhart just as much. Unfortunately for new buyers they don't produce it anymore and the other Steinhart watches look too much like Rolex for my liking.👍🏴
Just heard of this brand recently, and very good vfds for sure! Hey Gary, with your influence could you possibly send the pagani boys a message to get their clasps with glide lock, please!
I've got couple of Tandorios, I quite like the logo and the quality is...well I'd say its above average for AliExpress for the price, definitely a great value proposition brand
Nice value, but some might prefer Tandorio's 'Explorer II' GMT homage (with white dial and orange GMT hand). Hopefully Tandorio will improve their application of anti-reflective coating (and lume) on all of their watches.
Think I would like to see Seestern do this one but with better lum, Including on the bezel and lumed date wheel. I really like the on the fly adjustment on the clasp.
Tandorio strikes again! I've got a pilot with a pt5000 and there's no glaring weekness, outside of lume maybe. Quality looking dial, finish and great weight to the watch. But what do you expect, I paid 60 USD. The name doesn't bother me either, overall they deliver for the money and then some.
I have a Steeldive SD1993 GMT Pepsi. I personally use my watch as a 24hr watch. As weird as it may sound I set both hour hands to local UK time normal hour hand to the inner dial then the GMT hand to the corresponding hour on the outer dial. I then read my watch with the normal hands with the inner dial during the morning then the GMT hand with the outer dial during the afternoon. It's fun in a sad way lol.
I put a red tropic rubber fkm strap on this watch. I have the solid case back version. It wears and functions perfectly. I have no need or intention to go diving in this watch, it seems plenty water resistant for use in the shower, doing dishes etc . I paid princely sum of $99.00 !
I like it. The names is not too bad, not the worst of the Ali type.
I have the same (Batman with display back). Here’s my assessment: No miss-alignment of hands, face or bezel that I can see. GMT hand alignment pretty much perfect (I have read some people have issues with this)! Some edges could be considered a little sharp, but not a problem for this owner! Seiko (TMI) NH34A movement has lost only 20 secs in 4 days. The strap clasp was a bit stiff at first but has freed up. It works well and no issues with glide lock (though again, a bit stiff). 120 click unidirectional bezel is also a bit stiff but I expect it will free up. (By the way, watches costing 10 times this such as the Steinhart GMT also have 120 click unidirectional bezel.) It’s a great watch, fantastic for the price.
Pleased to report that the bezel and clasp have freed up nicely. Great action! The glide lock is freeing up too after opening and closing it a few times. Very happy with this watch!
Nice watch, given the price! The finishing seems good and they even got the bezel action and the alignment right. Maybe the red GMT hand looks a little off, I would have preferred a blue one. Although in general I insist on sapphire crystal for the top crystal and the cyclops, mineral crystal on a see through caseback is acceptable for me. They are still more scratch resistant than solid steel case backs are. However, I prefer solid casebacks - unless the movements are really beautiful to look at - for a reason and its the fact flat see though casebacks tend to stick to your wrist as opposed to stainless steel casebacks. Some kind of embossed decoration also serves the purpose of keeping the watch head to stick to your skin, like Seiko's raised wave of Kanagawa medallion for example.
Lots of watch for not much money. Ideal for a few simple mods & you’ve got an even more awesome watch.
Given the Name and Lume are the weakest points - Could we get a dial swap mod video?!
I have a Tandorio and I swear it was made in the factory as my San Martin. It was $55 with NH35, sapphire, wr200. I love it and I have yet to read/hear anyone have a bad word to say about their watches. And it is pronounceable
I can't agree more :)
Tremendous amount of watch for a very low price Superb value .
Tandorio does it again!
Is the watch jumping at 4:10 from around 47 to 50? Can any one tell me why this happens? Just curious.
Worth every penny. Cheers G
I think i have seen a Bliger xplorer 2 homage with NH34 on Aliexpress for £84. The prices of these NH34 watches are shockingly low
Since you said the watch comes with the option of solid or see thru case back my guess would be that the 200m would apply to the solid caseback and the the cost just isn't there to switch out the specs if you opt for the service thru caseback instead.
Looks awesome, the name doesn't put me off as much as a few of the other bands, I'm looking at you Phylida and mysterious code...
Bagelsport says "hold my beer."
@@MessagingMatters Haha! Not heard of that one before, makes me feel hungry, a sport I can get involved with!
Has anyone got any ideas what size case back gasket Tandorio uses in these 'Rolex' style cases? I'm want to try improving the water resistance myself.
Hi, I find loom in general doesn't last long I have a traser and once you have gtls it's not the same, I've just purchased a Aragon millipede that has a sii NH 34 movements do you know if this is correct and any good. I purchased for just over£100 not received it yet but looking forward to it
Does it come with egg fried rice!? Thanks for the review 👍
Ive been looking at those and I couldn’t believe the price
Thanks Gary!!
Wonder if Pagani will be adjusting their GMT'S with a new on the fly adjustable clasp and NH34 and where the price would come out compared to this? May not be worth it if this Tandorio comes in at under $100 in the next sale.
Instructions look good when I bought my invicta quartz Gmt recently didn’t get any at all to show how to set it up
I have three different Tandorios and they're all excellent watches. The lume isn't very good on any of them, but for an average of $65 each it's to be expected.
Did this watch have an ar coating? I can not tell.
You know, I don't mind this name, Tandorio. I actually kind of like it. Compared to some of the other really crazy Chinese names with no vowels, this one is really pretty good. I don't own one yet but it's not because of the name.
Are the crystals on exhibition casebacks typically thinner than the dial crystal? If we can expect 200 meters WR a front crystal, why not expect the same from the back crystal? Despite its shortcomings, that's a lot of watch for the money! The brand makes me hungry, though.
Nice modding piece
If only it was an oyster style bracelet😈
Love my Pagani Design Batman but not sure what movement it is.
Would buy another if they pop an NH34 in.
Cool watch! You said you can mod a custom logo or initials in the blank dial… where do you get such a thing because that’d be neat! Thanks for the review
The store selling it does custom dials. "Tandorio official store". He has a link in the description. I too have been thinking about a custom dial with my Initials.
@@Happy357mag thanks for the info! Now to figure out what I want haha
I have got the "Batman", an awesome watch¡¡¡
Just found a different product page to the one you linked (but you should still get your affiliate commission) which came out as £86 including customs - absolute bargain. went for black bezel for the OG ceramic GMT M2 look (also eliminates the colour transition issue). Also went oyster bracelet which should reduce some of the jingle jangle effect
link please
I got the 007 homage the lum is better on these because of the printed dial I get four or more hours of lum
But it’s important to remember that yes it’s cheap and it has a good movement that will work. But there is no company warranty and 0 support if you have a problem with the watch. The warranty and the support are what costs the money. I have seen a few companies that use the nh35 and nh34 and they make a nice sub style watch. They charge 299 dollars when they put the sub on sale and the watch comes with a life time warranty to the original buyer. And they are a US company with USA support. To me that is one of the best deals in watches. I think the watch is 349 when not on sale but my point is I want s warranty and I like buying from USA company that assembles the watches in USA.
You can take the spring off and have a directionional bezel both ways. By the way I paid far more for a San Martin and it came with a gouge in the back...
That’s not good…I hope they helped you resolve it
@@ILikeWatches2 I have sent it back. Ironically I have a Pagani N34 world timer and it is perfect. I expect the difference in the price of SM to be reflected in the quality. I've not given up as the odd one will slip though and I got a swift refund. Love the channel by the way. Its the only one I watch now with the odd look at the stotch aussie, Jodie
I want a budget NH34 powered BB58 GMT, but all I'm really seeing are these GMT/Sub cases.
I have just received mine on a jubilee bracelet. My first Tandorio. Is the bracelet push pin or screw?
Screw pin
Does it come with bhajis and poppadoms?
Very nice 👍
I bought a Bliger Explorer 2 hommage with NH34 for only € 94,-!!!! (November)
Amazing VFM
Looks like my Invicta but with GMT hand + sapphire and a better clasps 🤦🏻♂️ok its better then 😂 did you keep it or sell it?
✌🏼😎👍🏼
hahaha Tandorio, does it come with a side of pilau rice and some poppadoms? 😂
Great quality for the price
So if it said Seiko on the dial this would have what price? $500? $1,000? Plus a misaligned dial/bezel!
They have the cheapest pt5000 on aliexpress aswell
Watch Modz has loads of dials and hands you can swap. Hard to find a GMT at that price.
If you're looking for mod parts this is great. This has a very low quality case, terrible finishing and is just an okay Rolex knock-off. Whenever I see reviews for something like this I think, "You could save up a bit more and buy something nicer." I think watch collecting should be more about quality than quantity.
Wow, get the sterile dial one, change the strap and people will think you paid triple the price, outstanding for very little money!
Yup…totally agree
Any promo codes for AliExpress
What is Cheapest & Best original GMT
wow. the entry price for this movement is really coming down
I just bought one 3 minutes ago. Without even watching the whole review. Sterile.
Lol…brilliant…thanks for watching
Tandorio is great for the $ they punch above their weight for sure. I wish they'd address the poor lume, they'd be unstoppable. 😆 Id gladly pay another $5 or even 10 if it was a reliable all night glow.
