I didn't know there was a movie of his I hadn't seen. Sydney Portier, legend, what fun!!! The man is magic on film, electrifying. Beautiful but with raw talent, truely a gifted man. Not unlike Brando and Elizabeth Taylor. True strictly American Movie Stars, and sheer empathic passion on film. Thank you so much!
Sir Sidney Poitier... Bahamian born in Miami as his Parents were traveling back to Cat Island. Cat Island is a wonderful place to visit and see where Sir Sidney grew up.
As an african watching this movie in 2024 ... Yiu understand how the church enslaved our minds😢. Interesting thing is that most countries in Africa wee not free independent during this time

The meaning was to say, Africa should have control over its own resources without other countries stealing its wealth. Africa being a great place to the world has been raided and misused.
