My family is from Vietnam but we live in the US, so watching your Vietnam travels has been really fun and nostalgic for me. I highly recommend you trying out Banh Mi one day if you ever revisit (: I want to translate the beginning part where you drank the tea unless your friend already translated it for you. The old lady with the black hair was asking if you thought the drink was yummy, and asked you how old you are. The other lady who showed you a picture of the girl, that was her daughter in the photo. I'm glad to see you had a good time with Vietnamese people, Viet people are very welcoming (not bias I swear haha), and just love chatting and having a good time with good food and good company.
Thanks for visiting these third world countries and filming your experience, as someone who probably wouldn't go myself, I'm really thankful there are people like you to share what its like. Its very interesting to watch and I enjoy when they're educational. I often binge your videos, excited to see more in the future!

@@marcoroams they are usually sweet. Kinda like a Kiwi,I think they eat them down there before they are ripe. Kinda like they do with mango in those areas...sometimes they serve it more green rather then ripe.
It’s funny, the part about finding a girlfriend.. For me, whenever I get on a Grab bike I tell the driver I’m his girlfriend. Always gets a good laugh.

Im 6 foot and to me that would be so strange. Another fun episode Marco great job man!

what dark, hit up a street stand, my wife buys some chicken. In the bus i take a piece and bite, hard, wife QUICKLY
grabs it and says take this piece. Later she said it was the chickens head. Give me a Big Mac, Fries and a coke. ( supersize it )

hahaha this episode should be called "FIRST TIME trying FOODS that everyone besides me has heard of!"
the 1st one is Flan. it's a caramel custard that's very popular in many countries. i'm surprised you never tried Leche Flan in the Philippines. try it cold by itself and you might like it
the 2nd one is called Vietnamese Pizza. it looked undercooked, and maybe a bit too much sauce for most people, so it probably had a bit of a snotty texture from the undercooked eggs, and the extra sauce probably messed up the flavor and made the snottyness worse. next time make sure they cook it till the eggs are more solid like scrambled eggs, and only get 1 sauce, or 1 sauce plus the chile sauce, then you will probably like it a lot more.
the 3rd was UNRIPE Starfruit. try it when it's bright yellow, like the color of a lemon and it will be nice and sweet with only a tiiiiny bit of sourness. but ya, for a really good Starfruit you want it to be ripe, but it's ok if they have a tiny bit of green along the edges if you want a little more tartness. and if you want something really sour like sucking on a lemon, try it darker green. the one you got was right before it started to get ripe, so it lost most of it's sourness, but still hadn't gotten sweet, basically the worst time to eat them lol

@@marcoroams haha I believe you dude, the Vietnamese Pizza and Starfruit aren't common here in the desert of the USA, but we get the starfruit ¼ the size of the one you got for the same price as a full meal lol but it's worth it if you get a ripe one
