I have this car. It's not as slow as they say, and not as roomy as they say. The standard radio is shit, opt for one with the HK upgrade on the pre-owned market. A very nice car for the money, no regrets.
own one of these and everyone hating comparing but end of the day its a really solid body that looks good and feels good. engine is definitely the weak point but speed isn't everything, id rather a nice car thats somewhat slow than a cheap car that goes a little faster because its made out of tinfoil and don't weigh anything
even though i mite get alot of people saying are u crazy but i rather have the 97-05 regal.....the 3800 although old motor was best suited to the regal than these 4 cyl..
@Z34teen I'm with you; I think "Motorweek" should test the Regal Turbo CSX and the Regal GS coming out later this year. They've done that when the Hyundai Sonata and its cousin Kia Optima.
I actually was a GM fan to the point where i wouldn't buy anything else. Now as a former Pontiac owner who found out GM discontinued it, I'm about at the point where I won't bother to defend it anymore. Give me a Bonneville/Grand Prix GXP over this. I can't believe i have to see a black Buick-GMC sign almost everywhere i drive and this is their best effort.
@Z34teen Not at all saying it's not a good car. However as priced to the competition, it doesn't stack up. Again it's a cool car and I'm glad that it's here for the sake of Buick's future BUT better can be had NOW from others. Demand better GET better.....we're almost there US car makers.
A buick going through a slalom, there is something unnatural about that. But the to come performance version is the one that I would prefer, obviously.
the China 2009- North America 2011- Buick Regal is assembled in China: November 2008 - Present Germany: 2009-February 2011 Canada: Oshawa, Ontario February 2011 - Present
@Blue387 Not even lexus. GM should target the Hyundai Sonata/Honda Accord/Mazda 6 market. I would take the Sonata over this and save ~$5K in the process.
this car is a fucking joke, shitty gas mileage for a 4 cyclinder, they should have just put the 3.6 v6 in. its also pretty slow. the hyundai eleantra is much better
Man everyone is hating on this car, but you have to admit this is a much better buick than in the past and it really isn't that bad.
i have a 2011 buick regal almost exactly like this one and it’s very preppy
I have a 2013 Regal Turbo CXL 2 that is Black on Black and just love it. Great car.

This comment influenced my purchase. The H/K stereo is very nice.
That blue is pretty! But I love my Summit white Regal!
***** It's good. It just hit 13,000 miles the other day.

I always wondered why GM didn't sell the 2.8L V6 turbo engine in North America as they did in Europe.

Still glad I bought a Lacrosse CXS. Might knab a Regal T or GS if I find one for cheap
I think this is more a Lexus fighter than an Audi fighter.
I love the look of these I'll take the manual

i wonder how it would compare to the hyundai sonata or kia optima?
LOL! The 160 horsepower diesel manual goes from 0 to 62 in 9,1 seconds!

Can u get this cxl nonnturbo with a manual
The comp. is killing this. Who in their right mind that has done any type of research, would by this??? GM makes me :(
Buick, a posh premium brand? i must be too young. Buick to me means old retired people in big soft sedans. It's really difficult to shake that image.

vw cc? look like a jetta to me
Tell me something i don't know.
@Z34teen 9.4 seconds 0-60 is hardly competitive. I'm embarrassed GM is selling this as a premium American car.
I can find any advantage for this car. Design, engine power, fuel consumption.
Just out of date,
I did say Buick would fall apart without Pontiac. Pontiac was about volume, now it's obvious Buick is about, well........

thank u Germany
@laurenlalo153 I thought I was the only one that caught that
Wow so unremarkable. Shouldn't even be mentioned in the same story as a Grand National.
9+sec to 60 that's as fast as a 1988 Pathfinder thats really weak
@T04E my 91 would out run this
this is not a sports sedan.
average age of a buick buyer is 123.
opel insignia
its not a buick its an opel get it right geez!!!
This car is such a let down.

I am sincerely disappointed.
Another disappointing product from GM... even an Accent is faster, though oldies won't want to go faster than that...LOLZ!!!
