hola from Mexico. Hope you already figured out how to fix your problem. If not you should unscrew the shiny nut next to the gear on minute 6:30 and screw in the rusted one as close as yo can while you are tilting the blade, keep in mind that you have to help the trunnion assembly to easily tilt so that you allow the main bolt connected to the gear to engage. do this until theres no gap between the main bolt and the shiny nut let me know how it goes.

Hey Loris, I did everything I could and was suggestion. Until I over did things and snapped the worn bracket clean off the assembly. I was done. So, I found another delta for sale and disassembled it for the motor. But, I appreciate your suggestion. So Mexico. Sweet. I'm in S.C.

Loosen the collar on the shaft that’s on the outside against the frame. Small Allen wrench 5/32 maybe. The shaft will then slide to where you need it. Reset collar against frame. My guess is you’ll see a mark on the shaft from when the collar was in the correct placement leaving a indentation from the Allen set screw.

Hey bud I know this video was posted a long time ago but I'm currently having similar issues with a similar Delta. Just one thing I found that maybe of note... When I raise the blade all the way up to set an angle, It seemed like something was missing and I could crank it up a little bit higher than it should be. And I just noticed that when I do that it tilts the entire mechanism slightly. If you're doing the same maybe it's knocking those 2 Sets of teeth out of sync. I don't know figured I didn't mention it.

You could always drill a new roll pin spot to slide that small gear

If anyone is still checking on this I found a solution: remove the knob, handwheel assembly, and pin from the shaft on outside of cabinet. Loosen all the nuts on the shaft. With you hand pull the up the arbor? (part with the teeth) as far as it will go (90 degrees). Rotate the shaft until the threads are positioned in the threads. Tighten everything down. Good Luck

Knock out pin, move worm gear forward, drill and re-pin

Move the adjustment shaft back until it is against the tube and relocate the collar by loosening the allen key grub screw. you should then have enough thread and adjustment . Hope you understand as explaining is a bit difficult

Disconnect the worm gear/shaft completely and make sure you can rotate the cast plate by hand to make sure it is free to move, also clean all of the caked sawdust from the cast plate. You may see if you can buy a new small worm gear and pin to replace it. First, you need to make sure the cast plate is notfroze up and will rotate by hand. I really think that is the issue, and the worm shaft is not capable of rotating it.

My problem is i cant quite get to 90. The teeth are fine. And i still have teeth left to go... what is stopping it from going one turn further?

Check the set screw on the table top. It is the right side screw as you are facing the front of the table saw. Back the set screw out a bit and then reset the blade to 90. Once that is done tighten the set screw back down until you feel resistance. Hope that helps.

I have the opposite problem with my vintage craftsman. Can only get to about 35 degrees before the worm gear runs off the truniun. Was really hoping someone would have a solution.

Nope, I actually over adjusted and broke the part that held the worm. So I had to find a new used table saw.

You Do? know that that bushing has an Eccenruc hole As in it adjusts the Gear mesh... easily. Unless of course the cast teeth gear is destroyed beyond usability.

Maybe you have to re-level your table top?
