Nice timing. I've literally been cutting my wigs up the centre and re-sewing them to make them smaller because it is so hard to find affordable, cute, petite wigs!

Good timing. I have 2 Mariskas and was considering either Upstage petite or Simmer Elite petite and I now know which I think would suit me better. I have decided that it is fit first for me now. Love Belle Tress, but if the cap doesn't fit it causes a lot of problems. Thanks so much. I know they say that petites are a small part of the market, but I have noticed that a good number of influencers have petite heads. And if you are have older, thinning hair, or chemo hair, you are going to be more petite. I wonder where they get their statistics from? Because I used to be able to wear One Size Fits All Caps and now I have to order child size caps.
Yes, they definitely need to make more petite sizes!! You’re right- so many people out there seem to be petite! I just end up wearing a ton of average and just dealing with some bulk. But it’s always so nice to wear a wig that aaaactually fits me!❤

Amanda, thank you for taking the time to post ALL these wonderful videos. They are especially helpful to me as my measurements are exactly the same as yours giving me a good indication of how a particular wig will look on me. You are also a joy to watch. Question: Ellen Wille has made it clear that their small, (not petite), is their smallest size. You described it as “Miley small or a Miley petite if you will”. Could you please confirm which one you are showing and also comment on the fit? Thank you so much.

They all look lovely on you , as usual. I have Simmer elite & upstage but they don’t look so good on me and are longer due to my shorter neck. So many wig mistakes for me! Xxx

Hello there ,I can't believe you showed as recommended, I'm sure it's because in the last 2 months all I do is look for a reason why I'm loosing my hair . The top and sides are horrible. I have not left the house . I have been trying to find a wig but have had no luck . Can you please help me ,I don't know much about your channel yet but I see you showing different wigs and I'm praying I can order one from you .I would like something that looks like real hair . I have long brown hair ,I'm looking for a 24 inch long ,middle part and very low density as my hair has always been very fine . My colour is more of a medium to light brown, more in-between the medium and light brown. Please help me ,guide me in the right direction please 😢
In the CZcams search bar, write: How to pick a Wig. You will find many different videos on how to choose a wig. Do your research.
No matter where you order wigs from, make sure to know the return policy. I’ve returned many more wigs than I’ve kept. It’s just the nature of finding wigs. Be prepared to *hunt,* this is a process, and no one can pick a wig for you.
Check your area for true wig shops that help people try on wigs.
Lastly, you’ll likely not find something that looks like your bio hair, since it was very fine. My hair was very fine, and I’m dealing with wigs looking too poofy, like I have a hair helmet on. You may find that human hair wigs will look better in long styles, if you’re looking for low density.
Im a full large but at least i cant go wild spending money or failing to make my mind up

I'm not clear on what measurements constitute petite, average, or large? Need the numbers, please.
Petite would be less than 21” circumference. Average is around a 21.5-22 ish circumference. Large is about a 23”. But there are lots of variances among brands in how they fit. Have you seen my measuring video yet?
@@chiquelwigs Thank you! I thought I was a petite, but closer to average.
Just to add, sometimes measurements affect your size as well. Ear to ear. And front to back.
E.g. I have an average circumference but petite everything else, so depending on the brand I sometimes need petite. It's trial and error.

@@jaffasmum17 that’s a fantastic idea! But I would not purchase there because when you go to a wig salon, they are way more expensive! Great way to get a good education on what size would work best for you though
Can’t wrap my head around wearing synthetic pieces. Nobody has shiny hair like that. Just too fake looking and cost too much considering, but it’s nice that they recognize many people don’t have average size heads. Their petite is still too big for me.
@@HHSquare22 I don’t love the shiny fibers either, which is why I prefer heat friendly synthetic fibers that are not very shiny at all. ❤️
