  • Hello, everyone! Today, we're doing something a little different. I'm frog fishing for big bass. Over the years, I've developed a system that works for me to increase my hookup-to-land ratio frog fishing. The 1st thing is to realize what kind of boat you're fishing from. For example, in a sit-inside kayak, you've got very little leverage - even wading in the water, you've got more leverage than in a sit-inside kayak. So, you've got to compensate for that weaker leverage somehow. And the 2 ways that I do that is to fish a very soft frog + to put my whole body into the hookset. It looks a little funny, but it works! So, come along with me, as I go frog fishing from the kayak and land a bunch of nice bass, too.
