It was very rare takumi ever mentioned his mother, but I’ve looked in those wiki pages about bunta and takumi, turns out bunta was the only one who took care of him, in grade school takumi met itsuki, probably 7th which is where he learned how to drive, one time he snuck out of the tofu shop in the middle of the night to hang out with itsuki and bunta had to pick him up. But if I’m being honest, I feel like shinji and takumi could be lost brothers and that the woman who takes care of shinji is his mom, sounds canon to me 🤷♂️

@kennethlopez9848 not true at all, she died at some point when Takumi was a kid. An old woman running a stand in one of the manga chapters (which takes place when takumi was about 13) says that he looks just like his mom and that they used to go there often, and in the chapter where Takumi is driving Iketani's S13 it says he's "braking like revenge for a dead parent."
