    Very helpful to learn how you rejuvenated your zinnias 2-3 wks before you needed lots of fresh blooms

    That’s so interesting about the sunflowers being interplanted-I’ve not heard that. You have worked so hard this year - it’s fun to look back and see all of your successes. I appreciate you also mentioning what didn’t go perfectly because we all have garden failures too. Here’s to a great 2024!!

    You worked so hard last year and it really shows. I think that your business outcome is like life- you win some and you lose some. I love renovation planning and execution, planting, and seeing all you share with us. Congrats on your successes and ability to expand.

    It’s lovely to see your beautiful bouquets once again,, especially in the height of winter, I grow flowers for personal use, to put in the vase, to give away and to put on family graves, flowers are so heart warming and the look on peoples faces when I give them a gorgeous bunch of blooms is priceless ,,
    all the best for a great growing year in 2024, best wishes, Lisa

      We offered a full meal, live music and auction to raise money towards downtown betterment projects. Auction items were all donated, I believe most of the food was donated by local businesses and farmers.

    After you cut your tulips, are you going to leave them in for a while to let the bulbs get nutrition from the sun and then dig them up and store them? On all the videos I watch of tulip planting, the grower is opening up bulbs just received in the mail. Do the one-year old tulip bulbs get trashed?

    • @SunshineFlora
      @SunshineFlora  Před 8 měsíci

      I treat tulips as annuals so when I harvest I pull up the bulb with the stem. Since the bulb is cut off it doesn’t get any nutrients for next year and won’t produce again so I compost them

    Hi thank you for sharing!...Curious to know how many tulip stems you were offering in your wrapped bouquet for $25? 🖤

    Hi, I heard about floret online flower course. I’m not a flower farmer. I just started this year for myself, inside and out of the house. I don’t know anything. Even though I watch videos . I still questioning if I’m doing it right. Do you recommend the courses for someone who’s is just doing it to decorate their living space?

    • @SunshineFlora
      @SunshineFlora  Před 8 měsíci +1

      You could for fun if you wanted to spend the money - it’s definitely an investment. Gardener’s workshop is also a great one. I would first probably recommend the 3 Floret Books - they will give you a lot of information! Also the book Cool Flowers is great. I should have them linked in my description under “products I use”
