@@owenposer6720 that is true, however, it was also against the most mediocre goalie that played the majority of a cup winning teams games in the playoffs in league history. If it had not been for said mediocre goalie, the game would not have even gotten to overtime because of Nathan MacKinnon‘s greatest goal ever.

Avs won 3 Game 1's in OT wow! Imagine if they had lost one of those where how the playoffs would have changed
That is incorrect. Only two were in game 1's (St. Louis and Tampa Bay). One was in a game 2 (Nashville), and the other 2 were in game 4's (Edmonton and Tampa Bay). They also lost game 5 in overtime against St. Louis. 5-1 in overtime in the entire playoffs and won at least one overtime in each round.

@@rmst2022 for whatever reason avs choked on clinching against the blues and bolts. Avs lost both game 5’s but ended up winning the next game. It’s almost like they didn’t want to win at home lol
@@kingoftrolls19 yeah that was really weird. But they're Stanley Cup Champions, so I'm not complaining. Also 9-1 on the road, 7-3 at home this postseason.

What a year… so many great memories… Avs win the cup… glad my friend was here to see it before he was murdered. He was a huge Avs fan with me. Since 95 we watched/played hockey together. We went to so many games together… except last season. When the Avs won the cup, we texted each other right away. Just like we had done so many times during the playoffs. I told him the only thing I regretted was I didn’t see it with him. That I wished I had been there with him… he told me we would get to some games next season. And now he is gone… In less than a month I went from the highest of highs… to the lowest of lows. I know this probably isn’t the place to vent, but I just don’t care right now. I miss my friend.. I miss my brother.

After my 2974th rewatch of the Cale OT goal, I just now noticed at 0:54 that a few Preds were skating away from the bench/tunnel. Presumably to console Ingram which is pretty cool to see. He played out of his mind that game. The score easily could have been 7-1.

man i loved how tampa thought they could go in and easily beat the aves to get the cup, because the two years before the teams they played in the finales where bad and had no real skill and only lucked there way to the cup, well the aves would have been in the cup at least one of those years but injures stopped them

It's nothing personal, but I just can't stand Harnarayan Singh as an announcer, the ability to be a great commentator is something you're born with and he just wasn't, it all seems so forced.
Tampa should have won it all. You all know that when you have to play Tampa it’s best to just resign.
Yet they lost. The Avs should have won because they had the better team and it showed because...well they won.
