Nolty uses their own proprietary paper. It's such good quality!

I got this Nolty a week ago. I love it! It fits in my Moterm Travelers Notebook (the big one with the snap closure.)

Looks like a great planner. Those pages look so inviting to write on and throw some good quality stickies on!

I'm currently using this planner for the second half of 2023 and love it! It has my favorite paper of all time, I prefer it over Tomoe River paper. My only gripe is that I wish it had a 12 hour vertical timeline as opposed to the 24 hour timeline. I found that it was too wide for a standard TN cover so I cut about a quarter of an inch off the side and it fit much better (I didn't lose any of the printed info). Cut down it's still wider than a standard TN but there is no overhang in my Moterm TN cover. Thanks for sharing🙂

I've been using the Nolty 6501 since 2021 and I love it! The paper is second to none! The closest comparison I think of is Stalogy paper, but better! I usually take the booklet out of its cover and use it in my VDS standard TN cover but I think I'm going to leave it as is in 2024 and keep it compact as my EDC.

Loving seeing your plans for next year evolve. Yes, the Hobo English techo (in the black leatherette cover with gold foil characters) uses a larger grid size than the others. I wanna say 4mm. It’s why I love it.

I just received the nolty 1111 from Amazon two days ago. I was looking for a pocket planner to try and it is the same size as the traveler’s company passport insert.

hobonichi weeks is 3.55mm and original/cousin is 3.7, while the a6 planner is 4mm.
i bought this planner for $14 during a sale but it's taking forever to arrive :/
hope the nolty will work out for me this year! i couldnt decide between a vertical weekly or daily planner (a6 hobonichi original), but the daily planner I have is a 2021 planner so I would have to redate it, and i would rather my planners be correctly dated so I don't accidentally miss any plans. I've previously looked at the jibun techo to buy, but they're surprisingly expensive and I really did not like the circular time stamps in the weekly layout.

After spending waaayyyy too much time watching planner videos, I stumbled upon the Nolty on Amazon. I'm happy to see someone using it as I've not seen anyone grab this up. Like you, i dont care for the cover it came with and am nervous about making an expensive purchase and not having it work out. I just searched for a Moterm like you show here but did not find it. The size you suggest works serms to only come with zippers and pockets and is just too much for me. Is your cover from a few years ago? Perhaps style is discontinued. Shall i try an A5 slim...i get so confused still by sizes. Would love this Nolty vertical about an inch shorter though. A little larger than i want to carry.

There use to be a 6503 that was the same size in black but horizontal layout. I’m sad they don’t make it anymore…

Yes I saw that too! I think "Loft", a Japanese store, carried it exclusively? Sad it's not in production for this year too.

This is my personal memory log for 2023. I LOVE IT. This is my favourite paper (it says at the back it's FSC mix paper & when I asked them via IG, they said it's proprietary paper) & a close 2nd is Take-A-Note's 68gsm TRP (I'll be using their A6 is 2024).
This is so clean and it's almost like a blank canvas coz of how understated the design is. And everything has grid!
I'm still debating if I'm going to continue using this for 2024 as memory log or perhaps a goals planner (see Sterling Ink's previous videos).
Thank you for sharing this~ I hope this beautiful planner works for you.

I used this planner a couple of years ago. The leather cover holds up well. It reminds me of the covers on the Jibun Biz planners.
Could you put up a link of your pen? I can't find it online. Thank you. 😊

Used this last year and really liked it. I started the year out in it but ended up switching to an undated sterling ink due to quitting my job (I had too much work stuff already planned out in pen). I’m back in it till my 2024 planners start since my undated ends in October 😅
Only things I disliked were all the extra writing (holidays, noon phases, etc). It got a little too overwhelming after a few months. I also disliked the military time

I saw in another video that 65 is the size and 01 is the layout? But idk, the numbers confuse me. Lol

    Is this tomoe river paper

    • @LiviaTavNaether

No. They make their own paper and it is a dream 😊

    • @SylviaWithAPlan
      @SylviaWithAPlan  Před 10 měsíci +1

No, it’s in Japanese and Amazon didn’t make a note of what kind of paper. Definitely not Tomoe😊
