Gentleman and The Far East Band - Neuchatel, Switzerland 02.06.07

This was the first festival weekend outing of the year, after a long break since the previous year's schedule ended in September, while Gentleman recorded his fifth album Another Intensity, to which the Far East Band contributed several backing tracks. We were fresh from several days rehearsals in Leipzig and this was a great gig to get the ball rolling, with full brass section on board. Swiss festivals were always the best organised with the best hospitality and catering, and this was no exception. Our intrepid tour manager DJ Rodney introduced us with his usual professional flair. Later I also got to watch Asian Dub Foundation from the side of the stage, a great bonus when playing festivals...

@e.d.c.7284 that's amazing! I did about 400 gigs around the world and played on two albums with Gentleman and the Far East Band from 2002 until 2008 - such an amazing time! He's still going strong with the Evolution backing him, but I love what we did with him best!

Can't believe it's been 15 years already! I remember having a one track CD of that tour! One track of around one hour. What a hassle to move from one tune to another :d Thanks for sharing that! The Far East was such a great fit alongside Gentleman!
