I think I can vaguely remember Dad folding his shirts like this. Like how you say squared away- encouraging but also like it’s a good thing
If you variate the orientation on the shelves, they won't slant
correct, but the cotton/ poly blends flatten better than the 100% cotton. When most my shirts were all white and thinker cotton I alternate them just like you said

I need the motivation to get squared away and organized. It feels good my husband I’m working on it but can you come over and make a custom closet for me? I did my drawers two weeks ago, pulled out three of the drawers with blouses tops, T-shirts, tank tops and I found these shoeboxes and I folded them to fit in the shoeboxes and then put them in the drawers. They were all organized. He felt good yet. There’s still piles of clothes

They may not stay in perfect shape like yours, but I prefer to hang my shirts for ease of access. I don’t like when I’m in a rush and mess up all of the clothing above it if I have to pull a shirt out of the middle of a pile. Well done and nice organization though

I had to exercise three nights in a row because I couldn’t fold my T-shirt once I finally got it done. I ironed the crap out of it and it never to be touched again only for inspections.

@@susanegley4149 ironically yes, we folded many of our clothes on the blanket. The blanket has a tendency to hold your items in place, allowing you to stretch them slightly getting a better flatter garment.

I sleep 💤 with Navy Wool and an Italian Military blanket. I’m truly the man of the house which is a rare thing these days.
