I've been on animal-based for almost two weeks now, and I completely understand what you mean about some foods not being appealing anymore. I love chips, but I never crave them anymore and even when offered I don't feel any temptation to take a chip. I even have a harder time finishing junk-ish foods, because it just feels so "heavy".
when you were talking about feeling better than everyone else by doing animal based, honestly think that is just the momentum you feel when doing 75 hard. I've done it once and am currently doing it again as well on day 64 (literally added running to it just like you too), and that feeling of being better just starts to develop as you go deeper in the program and you build that trust in yourself. You recognize your doing things that other people aren't and just showing up everyday committed where most people find excuses to cop out. Could easily be both diet and program but i get that feeling around the late timeframes of the program just like you mentioned, frisella likes to call it godmode

I am training for an Ironman, the biggest thing that has helped with soreness is rollout out after stretching. I stretch for 25-30min then roll out quads, hammys, (not a hand roller) then do my calves and glutes with a lacrosse ball. 30sec-1min each muscle group 1-2x
You mentioned after your 10 mile run, you were worse at running. After a big run, especially when it's the longest you've ever done. Your body and CNS needs to rest. Your body is not used to that running volume. It's like doing max bench one day, then hitting db chest press the next day. Just not gonna happen.

You need a travel roller, something hard (not foam) and put your body weight into it.
