I got curious when he said Italy didn't have natural resources but mainly in 'human resources'. Anyway, based on google info, Italy's top 5 exports are
1)Technical machinery and computers.
2)Vehicles.
3)Pharmaceuticals. ...
4)Electrical machinery and equipment.
5)Plastic. I guess he meant investment in human resources/manufacturing
Which of these are natural resources
@@abdulkadirimohammed3595 None! That was his point. They are working with their brain/hands/manufacturing. I'm sure there's no galamsey there, and no 24/7 prayer camps for miracles.
Italy has natural resources including coal, potash, zinc, marble, mercury and so on but these are in very low quantities and cannot be exported. In fact, as a resident in Italy it’s quite strange to hear about mineral mining in Italy cuz those natural resources are not significant but they make the most out of them. Italy basically thrives on the use of brain cells (Human Resources), taxation (The Romans first introduced taxation) and fine payments. Italians literally produce most of the goods used in the country. It’s among the top ten industrious and manufacturing hubs in the world and that’s why considering their low population Italy still manages to be among the top ten global economies and a very significant member of the G7 and the EU. Think of Iveco (heavy trucks/vehicles, buses and machineries), Pirelli (2nd largest tyre manufacturer in the world), Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pinanferina, Maserati, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Vespa, Piaggio motor bikes and aerospace, Leonardo, Lancia, Olivetti, Fincantieri (one of the largest ship and yacht builders in the world), Eni, Enel gas, and the numerous Italian robotic/electrical and tech companies and you would know that just relying on large quantities of natural resources without having brain cells is useless. Nuclear reactor through which nuclear weapons and nuclear energy are developed was first discovered in Italy by the Panisperna boys led by Enrico Fermi, known for assisting Robert Oppenheimer in developing the first atomic bombs. Bugatti was also founded by an Italian who moved to France. Even aerospace modules like Cupola, Harmony, Columbus, Tranquility and most of the the other MPLM that formed the International Space Station were manufactured in Turin, Italy. Fashion and food brands are another topic for the day. They have proven that relying on the brain gives better outcomes than relying on just natural resources. We can learn from all these advanced countries and their ways for our benefit rather than always begging for help.
@@emmanuelcrayon7730 The saddest part of this discussion is, we are doing it on youtube instead of relaying this message to the average Ghanaian in the 'village' who may not have access to unlimited internet service. Because we need to find a way to raise a capital from 'nothing' and produce what we need/use then export some. Personally, not that I've not tried. I'm yet to find neutral learning centre(s) in small towns where people can go watch documentaries, etc. to 'open their eyes/minds'. Anyway...
The issue here is that most blacks especially Africans are just proud and unwilling to learn new things. Technology normally starts from somewhere and spread to people who are willing to accept and adopt.
Me tooo
They returned mine
Don't always paint Ghana black, there are many people living a good life in Ghana than your so called abroad. I live abroad and I also see a lot of people living in a difficult situations in abroad
@maame Then come to Ghana
It clearly your state of mind...There are countless Ghanaian youth who blazed the trail and were facing difficult problems than you experienced but were able to make it in Ghana...You can dig your gold in Ghana without even travelling abroad..smh
Next joke
No future in Ghana … so let us think 💭
@@wilsondave9893 no future in for u not Ghana...People are making it big time...Dey der
@@acquahprince8018 man try to be honest kakra na Ghana is a joke country
I was saving my money in Ghana just to hear of hair cut… this country
I always says African mindset is same as our skin color...very dark mindset thinking
This mind set with the youth quick money
Can you blame them? That's what they have eyes for, and that's what they see.
Who doesn't wamt quick money? I mean if u know a way to get rich in a week and u also know another way that could make u rich in 23 years, which would u choose? The short way of course. Why waste 23 years? So dont make it look like having eyes for quick money is bad
Over 3000 so far
