I loss my son june 24 and i understand your message! I feel like people ask for too much from me, I have other kids and we spend time together almost every Sunday after church because I know they are going through a hard time too. Since the day i feel like my soul got ripped off my chest and even knowing that he is with the Lord with no sickness i cry every day and at the same time I have a great peace and happiness. Before this happened I was scared of dying and now I just pray that I found worthy of going to heaven and see him again. I want nothing of what this world has to offer,it will stay here and we will live forever with our Lord!

I lost my first born 2 weeks after his 16th birthday, I did not know the Lord, For 3 years I roamed dangerous, Then God gave me revelation that our children are a gift from God, They don't belong to us, God also blessed me with 2 more children 3 years later, Sometimes God takes the young because their souls are so precious that they can't live in this evil world, I feel your pain, God knows best 🙏

Loss is a heartache, I lost my son in 2008 and then my wife 2 years later I look forward to seeing them after my life has been fulfilled the way our Father and His Son desire me to live for Him and to help others feel less fear and heartache. May we all feel less fear and pain.

Greg I just heard your story. I want to let you know that I to grow up As a child with an alcoholic father who used to take me to bars because my mother would be working and he was watching me but he had to drink. I believe that sometime during me sitting in the bar by myself or outside the bar I was molested as a young child because I have recollections of that but either way I also don’t want to ever be an alcoholic like my dad. I excepted Jesus when I first started in the Marine Corps. A corporal came up to me and shared the good news and I excepted Christ but I fell away and he wasn’t until years later that I excepted Christ again and gave my life back to him and now at age 53 I read the Bible daily and listen to nothing but Christian stations. Anyway I just want to say thank you for your story got bless you.

We don’t need happiness, we need joy. Happiness depends on whatever ‘happens’. Joy is constant because God does not change.

Bless you, your message was so on point. After the passing of both my parents within six months of each other it changed me. Caring for them taught me so many life lessons but losing them brought me even closer to God. Not one time did I feel alone and I look back at all the things I did while taking care of them and I think how did I do it? The Lord was giving strength and courage to face whatever came along. Dad had Alzheimer's fifteen years and Mom became bedridden but I would do it all again. I am a better person, my faith is stronger and I know what truly matters now, a relationship with our Lord and savior. Grief is hard, the void always there but God never leaves us and helps us through it. Thank you for this inspiring message.

Does anyone know how to do that when you've gone through trauma?
I have a friend who was dating a girl and after a prolonged period of time she just decided she didn't want to be with him anymore.
He's visually impaired to a great degree which means he didn't have the ability to live on his own. He had to go. He thought he had to go back to his parents
He got stuck at this job for the last 20 plus years that only pay him part-time
It's like his parents never bothered to want to help him to be all he could be after graduating college
I don't know how to explain it, but they're pretty neglectful.
If I had a son who couldn't see and drive and I knew that he needed extra help so he could be successful in life
He's now 48 and he feels like he missed out on his entire life
I felt this way because of all the trauma I went through. But I didn't wind up going back to my dysfunction
I don't know how to help the poor guy. The only thing I know how to do is listen and pray for him
We all graduated kind of the same time or both single.
If I had to say it, it seems like Satan's been working overtime to destroy him
I went through the same process but I woke up everyday telling God that I couldn't run my life
I just told the Lord that if he didn't help me I wouldn't be able to do anything.
He lost his son 12 years ago.

I don't think that Jesus wept because Lazarus was dead. I mean, that was probably part of it, because it hurt those that Jesus cared about, but I think the majority of it was that Jesus knew where Lazarus was, knew that he was at peace, and He was getting ready to bring him back into the world.

Pastor Laurie I want you to know that I do have your Beginner's Bible I am very concerned about a few things in there if you will take the time to look at John 3:16 in your Bible as well as one in New King James or King James version you will find that the word should and she'll have two different meanings should means you have to work out your salvation with fear and trembling shell means that it's done the original text says should this is very misleading it's kind of like Satan twisting words with Eve in the garden please consider it and look at it and anybody that's listening you should always line up any other version of the Bible with the original King James or New King James to make sure you're getting the proper meaning of words and don't take it at face value because this could cost you your salvation I'm very concerned about it and it's been on my heart now for over a year I just didn't know how to go about saying anything or making sure of who actually wrote this Bible God bless you I hope you make some kind of revision
