I always stress shocks to all my friends because they are so important for performance…as you see yourself. Great job on putting ol’ humpty-dumpty back together again Earl, and the shock work you did was perfect! People should learn something from this video… of course you have haters, chumps… but normal people learned a lot about shocks today!! My name is Scott and I approve this message 🇺🇸🍀
We need something like this for the xmaxx! I run 60w on the xmaxx but the pistons; something like a variable dampening kit for the revo but on the xmaxx… would be amazing
Sounds really nice I watched a video on CZcams were the guy took small fuel line and slides a piece on the bottom of the shock shaft so when it bottoms out it has cushion on the bottom maby help with shock shafts bending he also put it were the shocks screw in as extra cushion....
Heck yeah Earl 👏. Glad those parts worked out . I’ve read they work good in comments and some people like the bladderless shock caps but I have no idea what they do . Just these pistons is a noticeable difference .
The landings is what counts the most we anticipate what the car is going to do so that we can land it right. To me that's what matters the most the x-maxx is more durable but the outkast outperforms it any day 💪 love the vidz thanks👍
Earl great video series on the Outcast 8S I am glad you figured it out and I have learned a lot just from your videos !!! M2C in my opinion did a awesome job with the shocks and I can`t wait to see how it runs when you increase the oil in the rear !!!
You seem to like this truck more than any other 6-8s arrma? Like how you drive it✅️ You make it seem a lot more stable than I thought it'd be for being short chassis.
Even though it has a short chassis it doesn't really drive like an upsized Outcast 6S. It is not as wild; instead it is a bit more stable, and a bit less stunty. With the shorter chassis you can still kick out the back end and change directions pretty quickly while still being planted. To me it feels like an oversized buggy with more ground clearance as opposed to a top-heavy monster truck.
Hi Earl yes 😊 a completely complaint Truck good work. I've been following your work and I'd say we'll done. I'm over in the UK. Wish we had places like these to run our RCs. Quick question what motor plate are you using it's sound's great. Thanks keep up your the good work. Mark
@SixShooterRC this ExB roller 1/5 th was the og ExB in 8s sway bars I think I added can’t remember original rtr did not and wasn’t an ExB version I have the original ( first release ExB roller )after this an rtr was released from the video I linked the ExB roller had factory sway bars in the video check it out
A great mechanic figuring out a problem and fixing it and doing it better than anyone else Ciara who said you ain't the best mechanic on CZcams Earl 💯👍🫘 you gave it to me today earl
I can hear how smooth the landings are… wow! It’s like a different RC…

Awesome bash! Glad we could make your RC experience better!! Thanks for punishing the parts!!!!
Yeah man . I ll be ordering them pistons too , very nice 👍
The outcasts look a lot more stable on turns and take off😮 good job
An all around well built RC … sounds smooth on this end 👍👍👍 Xmaxx gonna need some more power to keep up 😬😬😬
Nice tune, that’s the best I’ve seen an Outcast 8S look!
I’m shocked how well it did a little hop in the back but really not to bad
I’ve mentioned it to both you guys before! 😂 shock pistons or a variable dampening system makes an RC completely different
@@V8chump I’ve used VRP pistons in the past. Just depends on a lot of things.
Back in black!!
Gee you'd sure need a dust mask on that track.... Wow that sucker sure did preform today...... Awesome Earl ❤
Outcast showed up to play today 💯👌
Rc paradise ❤
Thanks! Great video Earl 👊👍
Thank you for the continued support 💯🙏

M2C makes the pistons for the Xmaxx

You’ll have bad coil bind before the fuel tubing hits if it’s set up correctly

Big rock 6s is my favorite 6s

60k Fluid? Didnt you mean 60WT? :D
Great Video man!

PPS Mount 👍
Thanks!
Thanks for supporting
Awesome job Earl, truck looks solid 💯 shot out to m2c racing i order some things for kraton 8s 😊
it is a good thing ya ain't got any of that sweet smokey diamond dust in your bearings 😮
Boom🎉
Wats a good shock fluid weight to use on 6s or 4s
Your weather plays a big part in fluids a good all weather fluid is stock
Preforming good. Bad to the bone.
Do you have sway bars on your outcast??
Yes stock sway bars
@@earlmoorhead5555
The OG Outcast doesn’t have stock sway bars there are an ad on option
I put the 5mm ones on mine front & rear

Great work on the shock tuning. X-Maxx is a bruiser but the your Outcast 8S is a hot rod! Glad you finally got it sorted!
