Nanmin's death hits the hardest for me in jjk I think. He goes through his life desiring to help other, but he was clearly becoming disillusioned with the Jujutsu academy and what not. Haibara was Nanmin's emotional anchor, by providing that hyper go lucky energy that Nanamin lacked, a light in the grim line of work they partook in, filled with death and literal cursed problems. Then haibara dies, and it's too much for him and he leaves, the Jujutsu society pushes to hard for the sorcerers to protect people at the cost of their own life, not to mention the sorcerers being all to willing to do so. But Nanamin still wants to help people so he goes into financing and helping others to get their life on track, only to find himself at pretty much swindling those same people he's trying to help. He eventually helps the lady who's been selling him food, by killing the curse that's been harassing her, and thus gets dragged into killing curses. Nanamin states it clearly the first time we meet him, he hates being a sorcerer, but he also hates being a salesman, but at the end of the day he found being a sorcerer came more naturally to him, but I think it's deeper then that. I Believe he found that being a sorcerer could yield immediate results when it came to helping others, and despite the society being shit it was still his better option. One can't tell me that he doesn't do it to help people because when he sees Mahito's disgusting corruption of innocent people, it very clearly disturbed him. He was grounded despite all his uncertainty with what he wanted to do, so he stuck to it. Then we get to him during Shibuya, and how he put his back into protecting people, including the support members who where out there getting slaughtered by the twink, eventually clobbering said bastard and descending further into the abyss. He comes across Dagon, barely survives, only to have Jogo jump him, and HE STILL SURVIVES. When we pan to Nanamin wandering through metro, barely hanging on, and then he gets jumped by the cursed humans, and you can't help but root for him, as hes talking about what his plans are to take it easy after he gets out, and then mahito walks up on him. The way Nanamin dies is unfair, but somehow beautiful in the way he struggled, how he kept pressing on in spite of all that dragged him down, to finally push and to get his reward, only to get dragged down by the very representation of the fear towards humanity, it's unfair and I love it because of that
Its to give the audience an impact to the character without it the story wont progress. But then again it is sad to see these characters go. The attachment to them only makes the wound worse...
I saw this before I ever watch jjk and (somehow) didn’t realize it was related at all… needless to say when I saw nanami half burned my heart fucking dropped
@@ztmmui7322the edit is literally tr#sh theres no twixtor no scene selection no effects and no 60fps, and he didnt include the anime in the desc or the studio who made it so hes basically stealing the studios work without crediting them hes been editing for almost 17years but still doesnt know the editing basics 😂😂😂
