If u disassemble u add 1 US QT. Draining the oil and cleaning the oil strainer, u only add 0.85L = 850ML. This is for the 2023 model.

Mitch, Great maintenance instructional videos on the PCX 150...really the best. Could really use one on how to replace the fuel filter located on the fuel pump assy unit inside the gas tank. A few panels have to come off, disconnecting the fuel supply line is a little tricky, and removing the pump assy from the tank is like RUBIKS cube...ugh. Could really use one of your videos on this job.

I changed the oil in my 2013 PCX 150 I put it on the middle stand on level concrete drained the oil took the filter screen out and cleaned it made sure all the oil had stopped draining put the oil plug back in and the screen and cover put one US QUART of oil in then cranked the scooter up and let it run for about 4 or 5 minutes turned the scooter off waited 10 or more minutes then checked the oil by wiping the dip stick off and putting it back in but did not screw it in wiped the dip stick off put it back in but did not screw it in and the oil is showing about half an inch over the full mark. What the hell is going on it's showing about a Quart to much oil.

before put on back the screws under the engine and the filter "tamiz", thats better put some new oil to clean out old oil and contamination.
Honda say the oil motor are 10w30 Jaso MB, but im using for now 5w40 and works better the engine, reduce gasoline consumption and reduce stress between cilinder and piston, in a few seconds the optimus temperature are ready and for climatic zones like Hawai, California or Alicante in my country Spain in the Mediterranean, are the best choice.
Im using CASTROL from many years ago in Scomadi TL125, Honda PCX 125i and VESPA GTS SUPER 125, maybe next time i try MOTUL or MOTOREX if the price of Castrol change...
    greetings Mitch!!

Hello mate. I am an owner of Honda Pcx 125cc 2017 and I totally agree with you. I use ipone katana scooter 5w40 oil and I am very satisfied. I totally recommend this motor oil. I live in Greece and temperature here in summer is so hot for 10w30 oil. I also recommend full synthetic motor oil. Any choice you make is good as it meets the handbook specifications. But never never let a Honda crankcase dry out of oil. Keep good work and wish you the best.

Maybe motul is better but I cannot express any opinion because I have never tried it. I use ipone oil for 78000 km without a single problem. There are so many products you can choose for your bike. I didn't say ipone is the best oil, I just said what I use and I did a simple recommendation for my own experience. I am not an advertisement guy.😅

Not sure if you already have this sorted now, but what I did on my PCX150 was to buy an extra 17mm socket and then file the chamfer off completely. That "nut" on the oil screen cap is really shallow, so the chamfered edge of the socket can't grip it properly. Remove the chamfer from an extra 17mm socket and you'll get a solid connection and it will come off. MIght need a breaker bar like Mitch used, but it will come off!

Then blame honda. It's just what the manual says. It also says to use the same 10w 30 oil as gear oil. Since it makes no sense I didn't listen and put in 80w 90 mineral oil

@@phanhuy14 Oil change is every 4000 miles after the initial 600 mile break in period.
