I really recommend you guys react to The Gentleman Pirate on Internet Historian's second channel, it's really funny and informative. A lot of research clearly went in to making it as factual as possible, shown by the citations and comments that appear on screen. It is a very long video tho, so I get if it's not something you plan to do.

@@alctaurion9038 Hello there! Socialist here. No fucking way would I ever want to live in China, or consider it anything but one of the worst countries on Earth. It's the greatest threat to democracy in the modern day. Socialism has about as much to do with communism at it has to do with capitalism and capitalism with socialism. I.e. Nada. Whilst the definition of each of these ideologies can get blurred as one country under a certain ideology can completely differ from another under the same, grouping any of these ideologies together is not remotely accurate. As a socialist, I strongly disagree with authoritarianism and any impedance on human rights. This also includes war-mongering, couping, the many violations for workers (especially abroad in third world countries by first world companies that are not held to account) and denial to amenities such as health-care, food and water when it is in abundance under capitalist systems such as that in the USA. The USA has installed more dictatorships and authoritarian governments than any other power in history. As a socialist, I am strongly against the governance of the USA, but not anywhere near as much as for China.

I haven't been this dissappointed in America since Hurricane Katrina. If people will act like this with no consequences for 1000 dollars or less, and over toilet paper....imagine when food has a shortage. People will be killing children and eating them en masse on day two, before they ever feel a pang of hunger. We deserve what's coming. The end is close, do what you gotta do.
