You might not think using a scope can affect your shooting in a bad way, but you would be surprised. I outline some common mistakes archers make when using a scope and show you how to get the scope to work FOR you instead of against you.
    Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

I make the first mistake all the time 😁
I like to see the arrow vibrating in the target to recognize my own arrows.

    I really think a scope is required in 50 - 70 m distances. At 18 m or 30 m it isn´t needed (unless eyes problems, of course)

yes sometimes you need it, specially on indoor with poor lightning

Yesterday (while out observing birds on a lake) we used our scope to observe a butterfly behind us in a field at the very limit of close focus just a few meters away. Unusually the butterfly remained fairly still for 10 minutes allowing us to observe details that would normally be impossible.

i called it "worth to buy" equipment. i can use it everywhere, on shooting line, as spectators, also simple to enjoy nature.

I use binoculares. I don't like the presence of tripods on shooting line as it occupies my space.

I'm similar too, many archers prefer having a scope off the line as well that they can check between ends :)

We only have 80 centimeters on the shooting line.
